As for your bolding comments, I did not bold. Looking at my published words I did not bold...how my words got bolded I have no clue. I don't even know how to bold on this forum except when one starts a New Post....I have seen an option to bold otherwise into a thread I don't know how one bolds....

The speech highlighted in bold print was done by me when I quoted you to emphasize what part of your post you edited to add after I had already read your post. (FYI: the bold B, (to bold text) is right across from the Font Size, at the top, right next to the I, U, etc. The Colored Ball will change the color of your text.) You know, it's frustrating to respond to someone's post, then, go back and more was added after the fact. IMO, it would just be better to start a new post to continue on.

Oh I have an idea, I'll keep off the forums and just play games sometimes, too much confusion and angst. I've posted some informative info but I'm done for a while. Thanks.

I had a bout with bursitis about thirty years ago in my left shoulder. I thought it was a pulled muscle at first. The pain got to the point where it was almost unbearable as the days went on. When I could no longer stand the pain and the fact that it was interfering with my job performance, I sought out my physician for the cause and a cure. After a few moments of describing my symptoms and him doing some hands-on manipulation, he diagnosed me as having bursitis.
Long story short......my doc administered a cortisone injection right in the shoulder joint and within a couple of days, the pain had subsided to less than a half of what it was and, within a week, the pain and inflammation was all but gone. I suffered NO ill side effects then and since.

I was under impression that being a moderator one SHOULD BE unbiased but that is not true in many cases. Being an administrator or a moderator of an online forum does not mean that individual forfeits their natural right to their opinion. Just because they may not agree with you does not signify bias. "If you're not for me, you must be against me" is an unfortunate way to interpret conversation.

I have found on the forums I'm a member of that moderators do come across with a dislike for a member who does NOT go with their ways of things like health remedies.

The moderators here are biased against alternative medicine. They posted a Wikipedia article, and Wikipedia is biased against anything that is not mainstream. Eastern medicine (acupuncture, reiki), any kind of spirituality. Anything that is not mainstream atheism is bashed by Wikipedia. And sciencebasedmedicine.org. And other related atheist blogs by Steven Novella and David Gorski. These guys are fighting hard to stamp out non-mainstream, non-materialist ideas.

The moderators here are biased against alternative medicine. That's your opinion, to which you are supremely entitled to. Wikipedia is biased against anything that is not mainstream. Not true, Wikipedia as a corporate entity has no bias but does vet submitted articles in a very arduous process. Anything that is not mainstream atheism is bashed by Wikipedia. Again, not true...see response above. My opinion: People that post on controversial subject matter should be prepared for receiving critical review, and be able to handle the impact of such review, and not expect everyone to automatically agree with them.
Here's the deal: IF a person has a belief of 'something'....that's OK....no matter how weak the empirical evidence supporting it is, provided that there is no insistence of such as being FACT. fact /fakt/ Learn to pronounce noun noun: fact; plural noun: facts
a thing that is known or proved to be true. Example: I believe that Qigong is of important physical and mental therapeutic benefit. Per Wikipedia article: Because clinical research on qigong for its potential benefit in treating various diseases – such as hypertension, pain, and cancer – has been inconclusive due to poor quality, there remains no evidence that qigong has any therapeutic effect, as of 2016 That's OK, Wikipedia did it's job, THAT article (as submitted)did not contain sufficient supporting statements in favor of Qigong's effectiveness that could be verified through controlled means. I'm not mad at Wikipedia, I shall continue to reap the benefits of Qigong, and that alone is good enough for me.

If there aren't enough controlled experiments supporting Qigong, that is because funding is not available for that kind of research in the US. And I would be skeptical about that anyway. Wikipedia censors anything that contradicts materialism (the irrational belief that everything is made out of "matter").

To each their own! People have free agency, to choose what they feel is right and beneficial for them. I'm fine with that.
What I'm not fine with is when certain individuals persist in trying to convince others to accept and follow their ideas, no matter how outlandish others may find those ideas. It's almost cult-like, in some cases. It becomes repetitive and annoying when they won't let it go...just like a dog with a bone!

As long as you aren't forced to read it, you shouldn't get annoyed. My posts are often critical of the dogmatic, materialist, pseudo-scientific current mainstream. It is very sad that people are being taught that all the ancient ideas are nothing but superstition. Modern medicine is good for certain things, but it's very limited and can be very harmful when over-used. There are people who desperately want to trust their medical doctors. It's much harder to read and think for yourself. But it's worth it. I posted this thread to illustrate how devastating it can be when patients don't question their doctors' judgement. Almost no one here seemed to agree or understand why I posted it.

Wikipedia is biased and they censor non-materialist, non-atheist ideas. This is strictly your opinion, which is fine as long as you're not attempting to promote it as fact. If you insist on a given statement being a "fact" then at least respect the reader's intelligence by providing some coherent proof.

If you insist on a given statement being a "fact" then at least respect the reader's intelligence by providing some coherent proof. There is nothing wrong with me expressing my opinion! You seem to think no one can have an opinion unless it can somehow be proven. If you read some Wikipedia articles on the kind of subjects I mentioned you would see what I mean. Or you wouldn't see what I mean. This isn't the first time I expressed an opinion here and you got all aggravated and demanded proof.
