Cold and today. Only reached 25ºF today but with the windchill, it felt like 18ºF. Calling for a snow storm Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning, with a possibility of 5-7" of snow.

Temps have been in the upper 30's to low 40's all week. Have played golf every day. Once it hits 35, they will let us on the course. Only 2 from our regular group, since the others...for some reason...think 35 is too cold to play. It's better than sitting in a recliner all day.
Expecting lite snow here by 9 a.m. this morning. Temps remain in the low 30's. They're saying just a dusting to maybe 1" at the most. Decent over the weekend until more snow hits Sunday into Monday. One of our local tv stations is a purveyor of doom. Predicting maybe 2" to 4" and you'd think it would be the end of the world. Honestly...we'll probably get 0 and it'll go round us.

For some reason they think 35 is too cold? I'm thinking the reason is it is too cold. Brrr. And again I say brrr.
You must be a very strong and determined person. Are there other golfers out there with you? Just wondering. Lol.
I'm not a golfer. Just taking my garbage pail out of the garage and down the driveway when its 35 I get all bundled up. I can't even imagine walking around a golf course, or walking anywhere outside when it's that cold.
You are a determined and strong person. Enjoy the game! Brrr.

30ºF and heavy snow coming down. Say we could see 2" per hour for a few hours. Glad it's Saturday and I don't have to go anywhere.

This week, it was just the two of us from our regular group. The oldest in our group is 83. He and I will play if they'll let us out, regardless of weather. His statement is..."If you're a fireman, you put out fires. If you're a golfer, you play golf!" We both have covers on our golf carts, with doors. We have heaters, but I haven't used mine in a couple years. It's easier for me to use some of the small package handwarmers. Dressed properly, the only thing that gets cold for me are my hands. Gets me out of the recliner and out from under the wife's feet.

We got about 2 inches of snow last night. Quit a bit already melted this morning. Predicting 5" to 7" beginning Sunday night and all day Tuesday.
Mid to late next week, an arctic front hits. High temps in the teens with lows in single digits or just below zero.

Well, it's 4 a.m. on Sunday morning. Both our cell phones went off with Winter Storm Warning notifications. Snow supposed to begin 6 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, morning and continue until noon Tuesday. 5 to 7 inches with more possible. Winds 25 to 35 mph. With winds that high, maybe it'll blow the snow down into Oklahoma and leave nothing here! :>)
7 inches of snow is no huge blizzard like some folks might imagine. Still, it's been a long time since we've had that much in one storm and lots of the younger folks have no idea how to drive in it. Tie that with a State university full of kids from all over the world and a military installation with soldiers who have never seen snow and it is easy to see things on the streets and highways turn into a demo derby!!
As long as we have electricity, we have heat. Sounds like a good day to just stay inside...other than clean off the back deck steps and an areas near the bottom of the steps for the dog to go out and not get lost in a snow drift.

Winter weather ... yuck!
Received 8 ½ inches of snow Sunday. Shoveled and blowed it and it looked pretty good. This morning, woke up to heavy wet snow again. So far 5 inches came down. Now, it's half snow and sleet. It's suppose to turn over to heavy rain late this afternoon with winds of 55 MPH. They expect power outages with this new storm. This weekend, the temps are suppose to go down into the teens. Such joy! lol

We're seeing more snow already than we had the past two winters combined...and more on the way. Now predicting wind chills to -20/-30 Sunday night thru Tuesday night. Old enough to see how the weather has/is changing drastically from what it was not that terribly long ago. As if there's not enough to worry about we're leaving for our kids and grandkids to deal with!!

Another 5 inches of snow fell early this morning. Went out at 9am in 12ºF temps and shoveled for 3 hours.
I don't mind the snow, it's the high winds that take the temps below zero. Suppose to see wind gusts of 35 mph all day tomorrow and a high of only 12-15ºF.
Next week, we are suppose to see temps rise into the 30's.

One of the nicest days in a couple weeks. Was above zero when I got up this morning and stayed sunny and nice all day. Helped the granddaughters with some auto issues. Ran errands. Bottom drops out again tomorrow evening. Wind chills Friday and Saturday mornings in the sub 20's. Light at the end of the tunnel. By Monday, 30's and, later next week, in the 40's!!!!!
