Answer...their case is weak and they wanted time to manufacture 'dirt'. Manufacture 'dirt'?
I do believe they have just about everything to make their case...trumps own words with video clips and twitter feed to make it, along with all his cronies words, texts, etc., too. Only thing missing are witnesses to have a fair trial. 72% of the people that he supposedly works for, want those witnesses, me included.
Can you actually say that trump did not obstruct Congress? That he IS above the law?

Can you actually say that trump did not obstruct Congress? That he IS above the law? Mr. Trump may have stepped on a few toes at the beginning.....this I'll admit. I'm just keeping in mind that he isn't a politician and probably thought that he had greater powers than he actually had/has. So he made a couple of mistakes along the way. Wouldn't you if you had no prior political experience? They were out to get him since 2015 and just waiting for the chance to pounce instead of offering to help. No, they stonewalled him at every turn, and in my opinion, solely because of the butt-hurt from Hillary losing.
I just want to know why no one has called for the "whistleblower" to testify. If you want to make this whole fiasco viable and credible, get the whistleblower to come forward and show their cowardly face. JMO.

Everyone makes mistakes, no doubt about that BUT he has had three years to turn himself around, listen to the advisor's around him that he hired, instead of firing everyone that had his best interest to heart just because he didn't like to be told he couldn't do this or that without breaking the law. Trump has always been lawless his entire life. He stated he can do anything he wants and his enablers are helping him achieve that.
I'm not buying that old argument about being butt hurt over Clinton. That's SO water over the dam! No one stonewalled him. If anyone is stonewalling it's McConnell. Look at ALL the bills sitting on his desk that he hasn't done a thing with. The Republican party knows he isn't the brightest bulb in the box, and need him kept where he's at to fulfill their agenda.
Trump did, in fact, obstructed Congress! Any innocent person would have been more than happy to prove their innocence by turning over documents and permitting witnesses. IMO, whatever he's hiding, will incriminate him!

Anyone that has been listening to the Democrats since last Tuesday would know that the offences in both articles of Impeachment happened and were proved to have happened.
Now if Republican Senators want to pretend it didn't happen and permit this incompetent person to continue down a very shaky road of destruction, they'll have to answer for it.

It doesn't take a genius to see/know that there is something mentally 'off' about Trump. He is a malignant narcissist, with all the arrogance to not comprehend how actually stupid he is in the ways that matter. Ronald Reagan had no political experience, but managed to do a pretty good job as POTUS. He was smart enough, and humble enough, to heed the advice of those who had the expertise to guide him. He was also a nice person, which Trump is not...in fact, Trump is so morally corrupt that he is unfit to be anywhere near the Oval Office.
I'm not American, and have no personal 'axe to grind', but I sure hope Trump gets his axx kicked to the curb; if not through impeachment, then through the 2020 election. He is one of the most crooked, malicious, manipulative, and despicable individuals I have ever witnessed in action. It boggles the mind!

It's not necessary for the whistleblower to testify. He/she does not have first hand knowledge as stated in the complaint. The WB is no different than an anonymous caller to 911 reporting a crime. Once reported, it's up to the authorities to investigate, which they have done.

The GOP have said they are into voter suppression. That makes it hard to believe that they are committed to Democracy. Just being in power to protect their money.

Whistleblower?!?!? As if the whistleblower was the SOLE reason he is being impeached Screaming for the whistleblower is the same same as screaming for Hunter Biden just a childish rant and attempt to divert attention away from his huge crimes. There were first hand witnesses who ALREADY said Trump did it what does the whistleblower know that already has not been established? The Truth is Trump is a cheater thief corrupt president who should be removed but GOP are terrified of his Tweets they not own oppose him even though evidence is overwhelming....... evidence is not speculation but cold hard facts Today his defense will make mockery of the American justice system telling us what we saw was not true what we heard is no true what he did was “perfect”.

So far I have seen no evidence that he did not misuse the power of the Presidency. I have heard people say that what he did was ok.Because he was trying to fight corruption. NO A President can not investigate or push other government or US government agencies to investigate any company, club or anything which is connected to his reelection no matter what he thinks they did. Can't Can't Can't it is a clear abuse of presidential power.
From what I hear the GOP response will be a political hatchet job on the house dem's, Biden,so on not a real defense.

Say goodbye to Whistle blowers or any other person concerned with corruption in our government if he/she is forced to come out in the open.
I wouldn't call them a coward. I'd call them a hero. Bothered enough to spill the beans and smart enough to stay in the shadows. Why? Fear of retaliation. Like what's going on right now.
Some might see a coward. I see a hero. Different strokes.
A con man concerned about corruption in others back yards? OK. It's official. We are living in Bizzarro world.
