Charles Koch Died I find it very sad that we have posters on this board that welcome his death! What is wrong with them? I vehemently disagree with this and Warrigals response. A greedy scumbag is a greedy scumbag. Death does not erase his legacy of misdeeds unethical acts and sins. How this notion that death is something special, that it confers some kind of grace on a person is totally baffling to me. Was it wrong to celebrate Hilters demise, Pol Pots, Charles Manson, or any other evil bastards? I say not! I can only hope his brother follows suit in the near future.

Since karma came up in this discussion about David Koch's death, I'd like to think that karma really happens. It gives me a feeling of justice to hope certain people will eventually have karma slap them in the head. I feel justified and hopeful in thinking karma will visit Donald Trump soon and get even for all the heartless things he has done to America so far. There's not much I can do to get back at the man in the White House who has caused so much anxiety in my life. I find comfort in believing karma will take care of him for me.

There's not much I can do to get back at the man in the White House who has caused so much anxiety in my life. I find comfort in believing karma will take care of him for me. David Koch's death had nothing to do with karma. He was 79 years old. According to expected life expectancy, he lived about as long as he was supposed to according to averages. He was one of the wealthiest people in the world. Last I knew, the cause of death wasn't disclosed. If he died from cancer (which he had battled with), perhaps that could be construed as karma since he owned polluting businesses, but nearly 50% of people get cancer these days. My wife and I both have cancer. We haven't quite reached "life expectancy" yet and we may not. We might die in a car accident tomorrow - who knows? We've both made mistakes in our lives - some of those mistakes hurt others, but overall, we've lived pretty ethical lives. We've always tried to be righteous. We've only been married to each other for six years so I never knew her son who died in a car accident at 16. He was an Olympic hopeful as a ski jumper. From what I've seen in videos of him and how everyone who knew him talks about him, he was an exceptional human being - mature beyond his years. He was kind and gentle and truly cared about people. "What goes around comes back around" is nothing more than a saying people use when something bad happens to a person perceived as evil. It's a mere coincidence. Coincidences are common.

When people wish that karma will catch up with wrong-doers, well- that is getting really close to wanting revenge.
It is difficult to NOT wish revenge for misdeeds however...as they say "Before You Embark On A Journey Of Revenge, Dig Two Graves"
I used to hope that my ex-wife would somehow "get what she deserves"...but I don't really care anymore. I even feel a little sorry for her, maybe she will learn something
valuable of life instead of being 'punished'.
...but I digress. Nothing we can do about Koch, his future has met the present. Trump needs to be locked up in Gitmo!

Trump needs to be locked up in Gitmo! tnthomas I was bitter toward my ex-wife for years and carried an intense hatred. That mindset negatively affected my health. I had back and shoulder pain, along with migraines. When I moved 1200 miles to Iowa, I realized what she did no longer mattered. I was able to let it go and I gained healing. The only pains I have now are from physical causes. I don't remember the last time I had a headache. It had to be before coming to Iowa and we've been here for seventeen years. In my mind, I forgave her. Sadly, I never got the chance to let her know that. She died of pancreatic cancer ten years ago. I suppose one could say karma worked both ways. It caused me pain until I wised up. It caused her death as payback for her betrayal. I must say, however, I did not wish for her death, never. She was only 48 when she died. My kids deserved better. They shouldn't have had to bury their mother at such a young age. She wasn't a bad person. She just quit loving me. If that's karma, I'll pass.

For what? Power, control, money, and chaos instead of unity. So far that's been working. I just believe there is so much Ignorance in world. Brainwashed populations. Many of the poorest are so religious and have no money.
As far as I know, none of the major religions promise earthly wealth to the believer. Richness of spirit, yes, but not richness in $$.
