I have sympathy for people who will miss him, but when someones death can make the world a better place,
it is hard to be said about it.

Charles Koch Died I find it very sad that we have posters on this board that welcome his death! What is wrong with them? I do not wish harm or death upon any human being. In the case of Charles Koch, I do not cheer his death, nor do I feel sad. I would have preferred to see him lose his fortune and have to live like the rest of us.

Charles Koch Died I find it very sad that we have posters on this board that welcome his death! What is wrong with them? But you're not the least bit disturbed over the crass,no-class disrespectful comments Trump spewed over Senator John McCain, both when he was alive, and after his death. That should have been a question, but NO you stated that as a fact. FYI Trump was wrong about his comments about Senator John McCain and I said so.

That should have been a question, but NO you stated that as a fact. I did that on purpose to gauge your reaction. Posing a question gives you too much wiggle room room for denial. Trump was wrong about his comments about Senator John McCain and I said so I did not see you post about Trump being wrong, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

In 2012, their network of hardcore libertarian political donors spent $400 million on negative campaign ads intended to destroy government safety nets and defeat Democrats. They want to repeal Obamacare, dismantle labor unions, repeal any environmental law protecting clean water and air, roll back voting rights, privatize Social Security, stop a minimum wage increase and more. They don’t care about destroying the checks and balances in American democracy to get their way. Here are 11 things the Kochs don’t want you to know about themBillionaire David Koch Dies; Leftist Media Trash Him: ‘Hope His Soul Suffers For Eternity’ David Koch attends 13th Annual Prostate Cancer Foundation's Gala in the Hamptons with a Special Performance by Kool & The Gang at Parrish Art Museum on August 26, 2017 in Water Mill, New York. Sean Zanni/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images By JAMES BARRETT August 23, 2019 David Koch, the billionaire libertarian who played a key role in shaping American politics over the last few decades, died Friday at age 79. The announcement sparked a flood of comments online from Koch's left-wing critics, including several left-wing media members, many of whom took the opportunity to malign the philanthropist, some even openly celebrating his death. David Koch Dies At 79 "While we mourn the loss of our hero, we remember his iconic laughter, insatiable curiosity, and gentle heart," his family said in a statement reported by The Wall Street Journal Friday. Koch Industries Inc. also issued a statement citing Koch's struggles with various illnesses over many years, the Journal reports. Koch, who was socially liberal but fiscally conservative, donated over a billion to various charitable causes and also used his wealth, estimated at around $50.5 billion, to shape the political landscape, the latter earning him infamous status among the Left. News of Koch's death was met with both statements of gratitude for his charitable giving as well as a wave of criticism and mockery from his critics. Among those who have issued a statement expressing appreciation for the role he played in American society and politics was Republican Sen. Rand Paul (KY). "RIP to a man who lived a life of liberty, peace and philanthropy. Great blessings bring [sic] great responsibility, and David Koch lived that way," Paul wrote. "His many contributions will have lasting impact on our country. My thoughts are with his family today." ================================================ "Koch, who was socially liberal but fiscally conservative, donated over a billion to various charitable causes"

Lots of rich guys give to charity to get their names associated with good deeds while ripping us off at every turn. In a fair and righteous society, there should be no need for philanthropy.

It was not his political view that is the trouble has actions were harm-full to the poor and the earth.
When you hurt the earth we live on and many people. You have to expect they are not going to be sad you are gone.

Lots of rich guys give to charity to get their names associated with good deeds while ripping us off at every turn. True story, there's a long list of rich philanthropists trying to obscure the truth and attempting to "buy" their way into Heaven. From the Tao Te Ching, chapter 81: Sincere words are not showy; Showy words are not sincere. Those who know are not "widely learned"; Those "widely learned" do not know. The good do not have a lot; Those with a lot are not good. The Sage accumulates nothing. Having used what he had for others, He has even more. Having given what he had to others, What he has is even greater. Therefore, the Way of Heaven is to benefit and not cause any harm; The Way of Man is to act on behalf of others and not to compete with them.

as my dear Ziyi says.... It's Karma!! There's no such thing as karma. Too often, bad guys reap all the rewards and good guys end up with nothing. "Only the good die young." David Koch was a relatively old man. He died when he was supposed to die just as we all will.
