Chinadoll, while I "liked" your reply I have to add an, "all but". I liked everything you said all but the thing about you moving back to Taiwan. I didn't like that part at all. Nope. That is not a good idea.
Also, I've noticed you no longer use the term Foolish Donkey but say Foolish Person instead. I was joking with you. Trying to be funny. I know that's the way you talk and my intention was never to ask you to change anything about yourself. Please believe me I never meant for it to be real. It was meant to be funny and nothing more.
Besides, never trust anyone who demands you change yourself into someone who pleases them. When I was in my 20's I had a woman tell me if I wore a dress instead of slacks or jeans, and put makeup on every day (a dress? Makeup? What are these things?) and pretend everyday that I was straight eventually I would be. She was a Christian woman trying to help me. Ugh. The level of ignorance is staggering! But, I digress...
I can almost hear you say Foolish Donkey. I also see the Foolish Donkey you're talking about with the head of a donkey drooling all over his stupid red tie when you say it. Maybe he saw on Sesame Street red was a powerful color. Who knows?
Anyway, I don't hear your voice anymore when you type Foolish Person and I feel bad and guilty and, well, foolish. I'm sorry. Forgive me. It was a feeble attempt at humor. Please be you again! Okay?
Have a wonderful time away from the Foolish Donkey and his Foolish Followers! You both will be missed!

I real dislike your opinion but calling you a creepy old dude is unlikely to enlighten you.
I wish we could respect each other with thoughtful debate.
Should we allow red-necks to adopted. It seem like a bad idea.

How can any two loving parents be worse then no parents at all? How can living in a warm loving home be worse then living in a cold institution?

There are many different ways that children can be raised successfully.
In primitive societies young children are the responsibility of the womenfolk who look after them communally. The menfolk live separately in the men's lodge and have very little to do with their own offspring. Then as some ordained age the boys are taken from the women and initiated into manhood. From that time they live away from women and children and in some cases may never again speak to their birth mothers. This situation works well for hunter gatherers but we would not think that this is any way to raise children.
The nuclear family - father, mother and biological children worked well for pioneer societies but if one of the parents died before the children were full grown, the surviving one needed to remarry quickly or the model tended to fall apart. Children often needed to be surrendered to other family members or to orphanages. This happened in my husband's family. His great grandfather married three times. His first two wives both died early, one of TB and the other in childbirth. The children of these marriages were farmed out to his brother and his wife to raise. In all he had 10 surviving children, two each to the first two wives and six to the last one. They were all cared for but not necessarily by their biological parents.
Today we recognise many different models of child rearing. Two parents of opposite gender, single parent families, two parents of the same gender and families where polygamy is the norm.
Love and acceptance is the key to raising happy, well adjusted children and there is no one model that guarantees that every child will grow up in a healthy emotional environment, but wherever this is found, we should celebrate and support the families as best we can.

Rebecca uses a "fureign" language in her signature. Chinadoll uses some sort of hieroglyphics that look like smeared tic tac toe signs. That proves neither could be good parents! Heck! They cain't be teachin' young'uns speakin' that ain't American!!!! Ugggghhhh! Why do politicians feel they have the right... the divine guidance... the privilege afforded by their office to dictate who can and who cannot make loving homes for children. We have two ladies in our church who have been in a committed relationship for over 20 years. Over the years, they adopted two boys. The oldest, an extremely intelligent and talented young man, is now engaged to be married to a beautiful young lady. See how "warped" his mind is??? Over the years, my wife and I had 103 children through out home as foster kids. In 1990, I walked a young lady down the aisle as the only "safe" dad she had ever known. I could tell stories of those who came through our home with cigarette burns, scars, etc... coming out of hetrosexual households. It should not be about politics. It should not be about sexual orientation. It should not be about them getting enough lettuce in their diet. It should not be about anything other than a safe and loving home for those who have never had that opportunity. It should be about giving each and every child the ability to gain the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!!!! ¿No puedes entender español? tsk tsk tsk as for the "tic tac toe" Chica.... she just said......

How can any two loving parents be worse then no parents at all? How can living in a warm loving home be worse then living in a cold institution? This is one more example of why our wise Founding Fathers cautioned, no demanded, this country keep religious superstitions out of politics! Besides religion and politics being strange bedfellows, their spawn is not only a dangerous and deadly weapon aimed at Freedom and Thought, it's goal is for absolute power and control over The People. They must be kept apart. How happy and free are people, especially women, living in countries where religion and politics are one in the same? The cunning little maggot in the WH is using and abusing Christians for his own gain. Sadly, they're already so brainwashed and blind they can't see it and will never believe it. The maggot knows the art of manipulation and a sucker is born every minute. I believe this guy is evil. Not bad, not misguided, but pure evil.

The maggot knows the art of manipulation and a sucker is born every minute. I believe this guy is evil. Not bad, not misguided, but pure evil. 100% agreed. Mixing religion and politics is [seriously] as dangerous as the most powerful street drugs- heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine. All change how the brain operates, in most cases permanently. A new guy at the gym struck up a conversation, happens to be a FOX talking point drone(lucky me), spouting all the stock phrases about "liberals", "you people" and general rant about public employees. The most unbelievable part is that he claimed that he used to be a "liberal"...yea right, that makes no sense, unless he suffered some kind of head injury or brain aneurysm.

Or, he had a so called religious conversion, inherited millions, the woman he's with is a "believer" and would like him to be one also, he's Gay and if he becomes a conservative he'll turn straight, he's a racist, a Nazi, or he went through some kind of regressive therapy treatment, etc. lol.
