OK... Here's my gripe... Hubby and I can eat the EXACT same food.... exercise the EXACT amount... He loses weight.. I gain or stay the same... Now THAT's a pain in the arse...

I didn't post the original grip, generally, I don't dwell. I had a really bad encounter with a bus driver and I reported it. After, I kind of forgot about the event that happened on Friday. But having had reported the episode, I now feel so vindicated with the response I received. I know they are sincere as before when I had a complaint, a couple of years ago, the manager drove to the stop waited to see if the bus driver would stop at the place where I was waiting to be picked up even though it wasn't a designated stop.
Drivers had been told to stop for passengers such as myself at that stop and on the opposite side of the street to drop us off. Until all the bus routes were changed that bus used to turn down our street right in front of my building. Long story short, tenants who don't drive complained and we were granted our wish for them to stop at least on our street instead of nearly two blocks away.
Below is the response I received from the manager who first got back to me within a very short time after my email went out to here. below is the third and last exchange as of today.

Good afternoon Ms. Rosa:
I apologize for getting back to you so late but we had to request footage for a complete investigation. I wanted to let you know that we were able to view and hear your transit experience last Friday and we were totally embarrassed by the way you were treated by our employee! Your complaint was valid and we sincerely apologize on behalf of xxxx
We have met with the employee and taken the appropriate disciplinary action warranted for her actions.
We are making the new operators aware of the ability to allow passengers to board and deboard at this location as well as reminding the senior operators.
We are preparing to move that bus stop to a safer location where you asked to get off. This has been requested previously, but we are going to take action asap.
Again, I apologize for the unprofessionalism of my operator and please contact me if you have any other issues or concerns.

Thank you for getting back to me so soon, I really appreciate it. I know everyone has bad days, I just don't want to have to feel victimized over speaking up about a bus stop. I clearly walk with a cane, was it too much to ask even if it wasn't the norm really. But either way, thank you for your help in the matter.

.... I had a really bad encounter with a bus driver and I reported it. .... So very glad to hear that they resolved the issue for you. I hope that the 'employee' will not be driving that route anymore and will be reassigned without losing their job but with a class or two of "sensitivity training" to assist in their future employment within the company. Don't people like that driver realize that the riders are the ones responsible for their salaries?

Don't people like that driver realize that the riders are the ones responsible for their salaries? Thank you. I don't want to see the driver lose her job and she won't not based on one complaint. Their plan is to have a talk with the driver and will likely just issue a warning; that is of course if this isn't a habitual thing with the driver. I don't care if the driver stays on the route, I didn't do anything wrong. If she wants to give me dirty looks, I don't mind, as long as she does her job in a respectful manner, we will both ride without incidence and in peace. I don't ride the general public buses that often, maybe once every couple of months if that, so, I won't run into her that often anway. But as the manager mentioned, they will be talking with all the drivers for that route and they may also be updating to make an official stop for those of us who get off at that particular stop. Thank you for the kind words on the matter.

When someone annoys me, it is but for that moment and I'm over them. She will only be hurting herself if she holds onto the moment. Pulling her aside and verbally repremending her is as much punishment as I need. This incident will go on her record and in time if she continues the behavior things will take their course appropriately. I need nothing more from the situation. I am at piece with the situation, but, I truly do appreciate your concern, do know it is unwarranted. Thank you kindly.

My gripe is ME! Can't stay away from the daily news reports although #45 disgusts me. He is annoying and causes anxiety and fear, but I can't ignore him. It's basically an addiction to the activities of him and his family members. HELP!
