Well I’m getting on top of a very nasty flu / bacterial infection I’ve had for going on for over 3 weeks , dr seem to think it’s was a bacterial infection but not COVID but wasn’t sure without doing a swab.
I’ve only been sleeping up to 3 hours a night due to coughing / congestion / nose running without even having to blow it ……it was running like a tap ……..and I did everything I could trying to rid myself of the infection from steam ( personal electric steam machine ) to nose sprays that cost the earth and can only use them for 3 days or to quote leaflet “ it can make the issue worse “ after paying $18 for it ……..highway robbery think the chemists” see you coming” ( in English that means waiting to rob you ) in sniffly winter months I’ve had two packs of an antibiotic I don’t like taking but you get to the stage of not sleeping despite having 3 pillows so out of desperation I’ve taken them … so I could breathe.
What ever it was hubby now has a very mild case of the same thing
I slept almost 11 hours last night
I’d hope to get back to a few games next week.

Dusty, glad you are feeling a tad bit better!! Wife started feeling bad last Sunday. Just thought it was a summer cold. Cough, headache, weak. By Thursday, I was beginning to get worried. She took a COVID test and tested positive. Explained her weakness. By yesterday, she was beginning to regain some strength. Still coughing some, but not nearly as much. So far, I've felt fine and am testing negative. We're supposed to leave the 5th for a 4 day getaway. Will just have to see if both are healthy. Just keep resting, drinking fluids, and get to feeling better!!!!!!

From what I have read Dusty the flu shot will hopefully keep us out of hospital, not much more than that unfortunately.

We've been hanging in the upper 90's to triple digit F's. Cooking, here!! Just fly over here and it won't take long to doff that parka!!!! South of us in Texas, they've had over a dozen die from heat. Can't buy any rain. Did get 1.35 inches last week, but the ground soaked it up before you barely knew it rained. Take care of yourself!!! Wife is a little better today. Just tested negative so that's a plus. She is still tired and weak, but recovering. Takes a pretty tough lady to put up with me all these years and she'll be back bouncing around in no time!!

I'm all moved in and back to the computer at last. The move was brutal. The moving was good but the packing and upnacking was so tedious. The boxes are finally out of my apartment. This is a nice place and everyone is friendly. And I am so tired and hate this heat. (92 F today) Everyone now sends a letter to your address asking if you really changed your address! WTH I'm having trouble typing. I'll play a couple of games and quit for the night. (In my prime I typed 120 wpm. Now it is more like 20 wpm. (Words per Minute) Sorry Mrs 2Old has covid and others have been suffering from the weather. I will type more next time.

Shifting is the pits ruby. You are now on the other side of it so you get back to living your normal life.
