Trump seems to think just because he is the highest voice in the land he is above the law. Reminds me of Dictators.
I have tried to find out via looking up on Google can a president pardon himself, and there is no actual answer, just seems like opinions.
But in my mind,, a President pardoning them self is no different than a Judge sitting in the defendants side finding him or her self not guilty, when it should be up to a jury or the judge on the bench.

Remember the scene in the movie, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" when all the patients from the mental institution were out on a boat? They introduced themselves as doctors and nobody questioned them. That's what DC reminds me of today. A boat full of madmen all pretending to be sane policy makers when in reality they're nothing but a bunch of lunatics and nobody questions them or even tries to stop them. Have we forget they are in The People's House? As in We The People! Do we still have a voice?
They're drunk with power, out of control, and a clear and present danger to the whole wide world! The jerk in the Oval Office is not a president. He's out of his league. He's a fraud and a fake and a bloated ego filled reality tv host who lies every time he opens his mouth.
If this is the American Dream please wake me up!!

asserted that he has the power to pardon himself,
I hope that we get a chance real soon to see how well that works out for the Donald.

I suspect the questions from the justices, should it ever come to that, would be brutal for the government. I find it hard to believe that any competent justice would ever think that this is what the Framers had in mind. Why, we might even hear from Clarence the Silent on this one. My biggest question would be whether the terms "idiot" or "moron" or "imbecile" would make it into the opinion, right before a 9-0 verdict against POTUS on this question.

Adam Schiff on twitter today....
Adam Schiff ✔ @repadamschiff President Nixon asked the Department of Justice if he could pardon himself. They said no, as no one may be the judge in their own case. He resigned three days later.
In case you want to follow the Nixon model, that would be Thursday. …

Yes, that's been part of the problem so far, there already have been incidents where favor has been found in Trumps using the justices system for wrong doing due to some with leanings toward protecting Trump.

Can you imagine as a lawyer trying to make this argument to the courts?

To all outward appearances...he does not. We must remove this chancre by any legitimate means.
