I could not agree with you less. Sometimes breaking the law is exactly the right kind of example to set.
βOne has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.β
β Martin Luther King Jr.
Personally, I think there should be a law against redistricting with a political motive
Yes and Yes, the right to strike and right to have our vote count are extremely important rights

Now the Pennsylvania State Legislature GOP's want to initiate impeachment proceedings against the 5 State Supreme Court Justices who upheld the latest redistricting plan. This is so similar to what we faced in Kansas a couple years ago when we were "blessed" with Brownback. The Kansas State Supreme Court ruled the cuts in education proposed by Brownback and passed by the predominantly GOP Legislature were unconstitutional. The Legislature then passed legislation that said if the Court ruled against the Legislature all funding for the Court would be immediately and forever stopped. Of course, that was unconstitutional and was quickly overturned. Brownback then campaigned hard against the Supreme Court Justices, wanting the removed by the voters. (Kansas Supreme Court Justices names appear on the ballot ever six years. The voters are asked if the Justice should be retained or removed. Most have no idea who the Justices are, what they stand for, or how they have ruled on specific cases.) The Justices Brownback wanted removed were all retained. Brownback also pushed through legislation removing any rights of tenure for teachers in public school systems. That legislation also removed teachers' rights to due process relative to their employment. Since Brownie has joined the Trump regime, the teachers are now suing to restore tenure and the right to due process.

There really isn't any difference between the Republicans of today and the Nazi's of 1939. They are the same kind of people. Cut from the same cloth. The only difference is that the Republicans haven't been able to consolidate quite as much power yet.
