Golf this morning. Appointment for oil change in wife's car this afternoon. Built and installed support brackets for new sump piping along back side of house. Nothing real exciting.

Fantastic start to a beautiful Sunday morning. Carded the best round of my life. 33/35 for a 68... 4 under par. Two birds, one bogey, and six pars on the front. Three birds, and six pars on the back. I've never broken 70 before. A handful of strokes under my age!!!

Ventured out to run a few errands today...to the bank, then for some groceries and critter food. Came home, watered my plants and picked numerous tomatoes and cucumbers.

Golf this morning. Then to lumber yard to order a door and some lumber for a project at the golf course. Home for lunch. Six-month appointment with my audiologist to service hearing aids. Curbside service. Hearing aid service took about 10 minutes. Stood out in the parking lot and visited with the tech for almost half an hour. Really have enjoyed this audiologist and her staff.

I walked 3.3 miles around our little town this morning, then rode the exercise bike for a bit, then did some pilates for muscle toning.
I got a little scare later this morning b/c hubby didn't tell me that he had called the yard guy to come trim our bushes back, so I was walking into my bedroom & (having not opened the curtains yet) suddenly saw the outline of a man at the window & heard a light banging noise. I ran to the other room to look at the screen that shows our security camera feeds & could only catch the back of him. So, I called hubby..."Why is there a man outside of my window?" .... to which he laughed & told me who it was.
The rest of the day wasn't so eventful. I went to the grocery store with my daughters after lunch. Then, played some video games with them until hubby got home from work.

I am going to leave the house for the first time in 5 weeks. Walking down to friend's house for a socially distant garden gathering for wine and beer drinking. Last time I was at their house I crashed my bike on the way home and have been seriously suffering ever since. Alcohol + cycling = bad.

The days are blending into one another.. and most are the same.. Get up... let the dogs out.... pour my coffee... check my computer and email.... maybe sit outside and have more coffee.... fill the bird feeders and watch the birdies... maybe mow the lawn if it needs it.. Fill the birdbath.. come in... putz around the house... plan dinner... sit some more... feed the dogs.... have a cocktail..... fix dinner.... eat dinner.... watch TV..... go to bed...… Rinse and repeat.
Some days involve a trip out to the store for necessities... or a doctor's appointment.. but not too many.. ho hum...

Out at the course by 6:30 a.m. Working on installing latches for an irrigation pump structure. Teed off at 7:30 with the geezers. Done by 10:30. Replaced a dozen 6 ft. fence boards in an area our ladies group plans on painting next week. Home by 11:30. Lunch. Wife's friend having problems with a screen door. Widow lady in her late 70's. Had the door installed by the retailer and now they won't even come back to adjust it. So... off we went to her home to work on the door. Found the problem and knew I had the proper parts back at our house. Home and back and door fixed. Back home for the rest of the day... I hope.

5 weeks and one day since injury. I am able to do laundry, load dishwasher and clean up kitchen (but not extra thoroughly). Watching news and reading Michael Cohen book which came out today.
Impatient to be able to do proper housework! Husband has been a doll helping out but hasn't washed kitchen floor, dusted, thoroughly clean bathrooms etc. I can do some hoovering but if I do too much it causes a lot of pain.
I will try some dusting today. And of course, working on a jigsaw puzzle.

We worked outdoors most of the day...trimming tree branches, bushes and hedges and hauling it all away. Temps zoomed up to 88º F so I made sure we drank plenty of water to keep hydrated.
