I'm hoping they do some fast rewrites and make this the last season, it's time to wrap it up and I think they could do that in the second half of season 9. All they will do if they don't end it now or at the longest, season 10 is just a rinse and repeat creating a totally different show as it now feels so foreign from where it started when it was a really good show.
Sad to say, I don't get that same rush I use to get when Sunday rolls around. This show used to mean so much to me, now it's just meh and I watch because I want closure.

Yes, before I retired [again] I was working in a prison, supervising inmate workers in the Welding Shop. Several of my workers were TWD fans, Monday morning we all would talk up the the ins & outs of the latest episode.
As was the case with a lot of TWD fans, FTWD was a "curiosity" at first, but steady interest never developed with anyone I talked to.

I was thinking the same thing about Michonne being pregnant. It will be interesting to see how she learns about Rick's demise.

I'm planning to watch Rick's departure, but, unless Michonne is going to get her backbone back, this might be my departure too. I was mad crazy about this show, just too many of the people I cared about are gone and I'm not looking forward to seeing how they kill off anymore at this point. I first watched to see Rick's journey and now that it's coming to an end, well, this might be a good time for me to sayonara to the series. But I'll see what happens tonight and how I feel later.

unless Michonne is going to get her backbone back, this might be my departure too. Last week's episode showed Michonne either dreaming, or actually getting out of bed in the middle of the night with her katana, to wage war against walkers. So, I guess she's getting antsy for the old days, before they became farmers. I think there is only going to be 8 episodes in season 9, and no idea if there will be a season 10. Oh, digitalspy says there will be a season 10. Negan is still alive, although he has been held captive for 18 months, and it seems odd that justice hasn't been done sooner.

I'm over the negan storyline, he could go in his sleep for all I care.
Another thing, it's time Michonne gets a new hair do no young sista I know would still be sporting the same locs this many years after all they've been through. All the other ladies get to change it up, for goodness sake her short natural would be a nice look and less cumbersome. Well glad I finally got the hair thing off my chest it's been bugging me for weeks. LoL

Where did that helicopter come from??? **Time Jump** Judith just got quite a bit older, head-shoots a half dozen walkers to save a group of people in the future.
Just starting Talking Dead right now. Yea, we'll be seeing more of Rick.

That helicopter has made appearances every now and then in reference to jadas' jadus however name is spelled. J has been shown communicating with the helicopter people since previous season.

Can't believe Rick survived being impaled on the rebar spike w/o bleeding out and dynamiting the bridge of walkers. That to me was disappointing.
Now, TWD's program will jump six years ahead into the future with Judith acting more like her brother, with Rick's hat and gun, and more new people introduced to the group. Where did they come from?
On the Talking Dead they spoke of making TWD movies after the program ends.

Ever since Negan came on the scene, the plot seemed to become listless, full of "what's really going on?" Thanks to Angela Kang, the show-runner for season 9 the focus and direction has sharpened considerably.
With the "time-jump" and Judith emerging as an older child capable of making a difference, my interest in the series is somewhat renewed. Prior to last night's episode, I was ready to put TWD in my past.
It looks like Maggie has...what? Some kind of bond with Pau(AKA "Jesus"). Michonne now single, what is in store for her love life? Daryl? I think not. All though the TV series Daryl has been basically "asexual".
He seemed to be close to Aaron and Eric though. I haven't seen Rosita and Tara lately, I think they are still alive...?
Eugene is still alive, still like a sore toe or a bad debt.
What about the zombies? Doing commercials for the LG V40 ThinQ cell phone:
