Mike Quigley and Arizona Rep. Raúl Grijalva. Biden has faced growing pressure to end his reelection campaign since his first debate against former President Donald Trump June 27. His raspy voice, verbal stumbles and sinking poll numbers prompted panic within his party the president has tried to calm over the last week. But after his defiant post-debate interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos aired Friday, even more Democrats are questioning his viability as a candidate. Earlier this week, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey became the first Democratic governor to ask Biden to reevaluate his 2024 campaign and Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., reportedly began organizing a group of Democratic senators to ask Biden to drop out. ============================================================= Biden should start to get it.

I don't know for sure but I don't think Republicans would suggest their guy step down. They seem to be more loyal than Democrats.
I'm not questioning his viability at all. Not as much as I'm questioning the decency, honesty, and integrity of the other guy.

Democratic that ask Biden, to drop out, are the problem. Biden is doing better in the polls than any Democratic, who wishes to run.
As for the Governor of Massachusetts her message was, vague. I took it, as, make sure you can do it.
No Golden person is waiting, for him, to leave, So saying he should leave, so the GOP, have a less popular candidate, to attack, is not helpful. He can do the job, one of his troubles is he is more focused on doing the job, then winning the election.
It is clear neither Biden nor trump have coat-tails.

His debate performance was awful, but he gave a very powerful speech the next day. He's been pretty sharp since. Regardless, he is the nominee. We need to stand together in support of him, not just to continue getting things done for the masses, but perhaps more importantly, to prevent the US from becoming a dictatorship.

Biden should start to get it. He's got not. Those Dems need to say it to Biden's face than on news channels. Biden also isn't a grifter, a wife cheater, convicted felon, a liar and not out for revenge against people that don't kiss his a$$. Biden needs to stay in the race and tell those that are calling for him to step down, to bugger off! |

The Democrats that are bashing President Biden are mindless fools and traitors as well as unpatriotic jerks. Or, they are Republicans in disguise sucking up to Republicans.
Many years ago this kind of stupid would have called for immediate payback and it would have been much more than a little chat. If you know what I mean.
Their families would still be wondering what happened to them.
If they don't like President Biden shut the Hell up and keep it to yourself. Being a traitor is, in my opinion, an unforgivable sin.

I am dead serious, if you are a democrat it is equally important that you make a Republican representative be accountable as well. In my area I have a Republican House Representative- Jay Obernolte, as well as Congresswoman Judy Chu.
Tell them that you want them to demonstrate their commitment to the Nation's best interests, and the rule of law. Tell them that they owe it to you, their constituent, to demonstrate their integrity and personal decency.

Contact the House leadership, tell them(especially the Republicans) to uphold their oath of office, demonstrate their patriotism and reject the lawless and the evil. Tell them to act like Americans instead of Politburo opportunists.
Tell the Democrats to pretend they are Republicans and support their party's front runner, no matter what!

If there was A Golden person, with good polling against trump, first they should have run, in the primary, if not Dems. Could call that Golden person and get behind them.
Attacking Biden for being old, and not being a good speaker, is falling in to a trap, the GOP setup.
If they had questions about, his competency, they needed to keep it quiet and explore other candidates, and talk with Biden, He is the Democratic nominee, and the president, I never such cowering disrespect.

The poll have changed little, people know he is old, it is not secret, they voted for him because he is not, trump!
Where these attacking Democrats have been, I do not know, all they are doing is splitting the party, so we can win?
We need to remind the people, of the trump that made them vote, for Biden, last time.

Obviously they have no respect for the president or the USA. I don't blame the Democrats who are raising alarms. I am firmly in Biden's camp, but if he has another "bad night," I might side with the Democrats who are raising alarms. I believe Biden is our best chance of winning the presidency in November, but if he has a "virtual blackout" like he had on debate night, my confidence in him will be greatly diminished. I can't even describe the wave of apprehension and fear that ran through me when I watched him disappear in lost thoughts, but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and call it a "bad night." I think he'll survive the calls for him to step down but if he does it again, all bets are off. |
