Biden says case of woman forced to leave Texas for abortion 'outrageous'
"No woman should be forced to go to court or flee her home state just to receive the health care she needs. But that is exactly what happened in Texas thanks to Republican elected officials, and it is simply outrageous," Biden said in a White House statement.
If this had happened to my mom, her and my dad would have, got nuts.
How can the GOP have so little care about life?????

Because they don't care that much about women Not at all, and yet many republican women stand by their men. Good girl, sit, stay, good girl, roll over. Ugh.
Come on girls stand up for yourself. You can do it. You know you can! Take control of your own life. It's your life! Don't hand it over to someone else.
How can the gop have such little regard for women's lives? Because they're only girls.
Those girls/women need to stand up for themselves. Nobody else is going to do it.

Over 70% of Americans feel women's health decisions should be made by the woman and her doctor...not politicians. Some states have seen legislatures put the abortion issue on an election ballot, thinking the voters would politicians to speak on behalf of women. In both Kansas and Ohio, strict abortion legislation was shut down by the voters.
In the KS election, the Catholic Church poured millions of dollars into the anti women's rights side. All that money could have been used to feed needy children already striving for a quality of life.
KS is one of 8 states not to expand Medicaid. We have dozens of rural hospitals closing or threatening to close. With no assistance in paying for health care, the poor will die early rather than either be turned away or incur medical bills they will never be able to pay.
Word came out today, much of the hesitancy goes back to the Catholic Church. Head of the Kansas Catholic Conference has warned the KS Senate leader, they will work hard to defeat any candidate for office that pushes for Medicaid expansion before they get an anti abortion bill through the legislature. And, our legislature is scared of the Church even though the voters sent it packing when the anti-abortion amendment vote hit the polls.
Women's rights mean nothing to MAGA legislatures or churches such as the Catholic Church. They would much rather an expectant mother risk dying rather than being able to seek proper medical treatment. Women are the weak race, supposed to be nothing but semen receptacles and baby producers. For years the Catholic Church condemned contraception. Congress MAGA reps are considering trying to push through anti contraceptive bills on the Federal level.
My wife and daughters are all mothers...and some of them grandmothers. They value life! Yet, they are dead set on the idea politicians need to stay out of women's health. Physicians have a much more professional perspective of risks and the ability to give counsel than do clergy or politicians.

This is what happens when a so called religious group like the Catholic church has control and power over regular citizens.

This is one reason our Founders insisted we keep church (a mere belief) and state separated.
I do not believe in your religion. I do not believe in any religion. I believe in my country and do not want any other group, religious or not, making laws, changing laws, or elimating laws to please the church or any other religious group.
The church needs to stick to church stuff and mind it's own business about political stuff.
I don't even like "in God we trust" on our money. Which God would that be? Don't get me started. LOL.
The church needs to stay out, way out, of politics and stick to prayer, and good deeds. Too many nut jobs out there can easily convince "believers" it's their gods will to destroy a certain group of people.
Been there. Done that. Raving lunatics are still capable of convincing the masses to slaughter people who are different.
Think people! Just stop and think or you and yours could be next on

Maybe I will listen to what men have to say when there is a demand for them to get snipped. It takes two to tango. As long as so many men have the nerve to tell women what to do with their own body, I have no problem telling men folk what to do with theirs.
You guys are just as responsible as the women you judge. Equally responsible. So what are you going to do about it? What kind of change or action will YOU take to fix this?
Just wondering. ;)
