trump posted on truth social: He said he's joking but if it's in his mind, he's thinking about it rather than spending time behind bars. He's a flight risk.
Perhaps that post should be a red flag for the Judge, either revoke his passport, house arrest or just put him behind bars now.

He'll hang on until the first trial commences. If it becomes apparent he is losing the jury and will actually have serious consequences, he will become a flight risk. He will fly to a country that does not have an extradition agreement with the U.S.
Russia? I really doubt it. He may be the "apple of Putin's eye" but knows he would be shut off from any political power in the U.S. My first thoughts would be seeing him arrive in UAE or Saudi Arabia. Neither have extradition treaties. Both have golf courses. Both would encourage having whatever money he has left being spent in their country.
No one knows how much money he had moved overseas. We know he's had accounts with a number of foreign banks. How much of the billions Kushner rec'd is invested overseas and untouchable by the DOJ?
What will be the most interesting scenario is his flight to avoid prison and still be elected to the presidency. Within weeks of an election, his minions in the U.S. would be cleaning house of prosecutors, etc. Understand, if tRump were elected we would undoubtedly see the GOP maintain a majority in at least one House of Congress. Once the various pardons were in place, he'd come back to the U.S., land at JFK and have a parade down 5th Avenue. Democracy would be done. The Republic that has been a standard in the world for well over 200 years would be just another page in history books.

I wish the hell he would, and take with him as many of his moron entourage as he can! Maybe his treasonous followers will decide to immigrate en-mass to where-ever Trump would decide to go, the U.S. would so much the better off...

Since he is mentally ill, he is definitely a flight risk. Fani Willis knows he will try anything to stay out of Jail. How I wish he would just go away forever. He is evil.

He is evil.I share that sentiment, although I'm sure there's a long list of equally evil GOP contenders that could take his place. The moron followers are not going away, they're not going to see the light...ever.

The moron followers are not going away, they're not going to see the light...ever. That's because the "moron followers" are members of a Republican cult that's been "cult"ivated for decades going back even before Reagan and Gingrich. Republicans have been telling their followers that the Left is evil. After all, the Left supports murdering unborn babies. The Left supports sodomy. The Left supports deviant behavior. The Left wants to take away your guns so you can't protect yourself from the evil Left. Because of these kinds of social issues, the Right has convinced their followers that the Right is more fiscally responsible than the Left, more patriotic than the Left, more righteous than the Left, supports freedom more that the Left, etc., all of which are lies.

They are a bunch of phony, evil, ignorant hypocrites.
I'd like to see the books they read, movies they see, toys they have in their bedrooms, channels on their TV, etc.
I see them as terrorists who wrecked the Peoples House. Our house. Threatened people who work there and embarrassed the USA.
Immature cult followers who worship a lying, cheating, man baby who probably mocks them. Trump told us he loves the ignorant. Sure he does. They're his base. The only thing trump loves is himself, money, and a mirror.

tRump has good reason to think about flying to a country without an extradition treaty with the U.S. He is fully convinced he will be elected in 2024 and take the presidency in January 2025. If he can get the worse of his indictments moved to federal court, any judgements he could set aside the day after he takes office. The MAGA minions will vote for him whether in prison, on a boat somewhere in the Atlantic or in a foreign country.
He's already in big trouble outside the federal jurisdiction. The defamation suit filed by E. Jean Carroll will hit him hard dollar wise. The NY tax case is building. Georgia indictments hold decades of prison time if he is found guilty. He doesn't worry much about the tax and defamation cases. Never paid a penny in the past. His cultists will send him millions to pay those. His biggest worry at this time is Georgia and the DC case by Jack Smith. Get Georgia moved to the feds. The DOJ Smith case is already there. He will wave the pardon wand for those. There is significant debate over whether a POTUS can pardon himself, but the SCOTUS is carrying water for him.
