"Overnight, we saw similar patterns to what we've seen over the past several days," Blas Nuñez-Neto, chief operating officer at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said Friday, according to The Hill. "We continue to encounter high levels of non-citizens at the border but we did not see a substantial increase overnight or an influx at midnight."
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas warned people to enter the border through legal channels.
"Do not believe the lies of smugglers," Mayorkas said in a statement, according to The San Diego Union Tribune. "The border is not open. People who do not use available lawful pathways to enter the U.S. now face tougher consequences, including a minimum five-year ban on re-entry and potential criminal prosecution."
The Biden administration recently sent 24,000 additional agents as border towns prepared for the expected influx.
The GOP is really helping with, border is open lies, the sky is falling talk.
The GOP House keeps passing, bills, that they know, are going nowhere, in so doing nothing, So they will look like they are doing something, I see they passed a border bill, all over the news, When in fact, they wasted time, doing nothing, except, in conning people who want to believe.

Saw on CNN this all could be because a Federal judge blocked Biden from dumping immigrants into the USA without a court date.

Our worthless, deranged, corrupt, photo-op addict senator has spent more time in Texas this past week than working for our State. He and Cruz were all set up to show the massive crowds of immigrants barging across the border. Didn't happen.

Just now heard on cnn that cartels are holding back the illegals until they figure out the new border rules. Can not sneak them in until they figure out a plan. These are just opinions. These cartels need to be destroyed.

Title 42 was never immigration policy
The migration restraints of Title 42 are part of a 1944 public health law that allows us to immediately toss migrants back across the border, no matter their reason for crossing, in order to protect public health.
It was never meant to be an immigration policy.
Former President Donald Trump implemented it and the policy carried over into President Joe Biden’s term, with him promising to end it.
That happened on May 11. One thing we learned about Title 42 is that it did not work well, the people just tried to get in again. So it was not really working, except in the GOP's dreams and on Fox News.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “We have been planning for this transition for months and months. It is too early. But the numbers that we have experienced over the past two days are markedly down over what they were prior to the end of Title 42.”
What he’s saying, essentially, is what every politician should be saying. That we need to wait and see, and keep working at it. That there is no quick fix to our border problem.
What solves nothing, however, is cheap political fear mongering.
Like when Rep. Biggs told Bannon that ending Title 42 “will be unlike anything we’ve ever seen” and that border patrol officials were telling border residents, “I’m sorry. You’re screwed.”
With politicians like that, yeah, we are.

Tired of all this hate meant to divide US.
It makes me wonder what evil politicians are really up to by getting us all bent out of shape about people coming here looking for a better life.
What is the real motive behind these so called caring and concerned politicians? You and your loved ones. Yeah, sure. That's it. Lol.

Were are we putting all the people. Are they checked for diseases? Is this the information they have on their papers?
The 8 year old that just died had sickle cell anemia and a heart condition and was being treated in Panama, what was she doing at the border? Are the children.being checked for childhood diseases?
From what I see they are busing even illegals around the country. This is all a big mess.

Who are "they" that are doing this? Who is paying for the bus? What are the immigrants promised? How do they know where to get the bus? Where do they go when they get off the bus? What do they do when they get off?
The whole thing sounds suspicious like a set up or a distraction.
Who are "they" that are bringing all these immigrants in? Can we stop them from doing this? Who is paying the bus drivers?
Who is making money from this? I'm not certain but I don't think it's out of the kindness of the hearts of people.
