Stahl was a pawn for MTG throughout the interview. She should have been more aggressive in making MTG answer the questions instead of talking around them. I was angry CBS even gave MTG the chance to spout her divisive rhetoric on 60 minutes.

Stahl was more aggressive than I expected, and didn't let MTG get-away with sounding legitimate with her fairy tale dialogue. Reputable media journalists have taken the tact of handling the thin-skinned fascist politicos gently, for fear of being accused of being unfair...thank you Donald Trump. The upside is that with skillful handling and questions, a journalist can expose the toxic elements of the interviewee's position and statements, without appearing to be on the attack.

I remember when Mike Wallace was taken to task for being outright rude to H W Bush when he continually pushed for an answer long after it became apparent he wasn't going to get an answer. Tenacity is admirable, but Wallace looked like a fool.

We all need to pay attention to what she's saying. I doubt her band of suckers will grow much, but when that large a segment of this country has a gripe, we'd better pay attention to what they're saying. We don't have to agree with them on any level, but we must know where they stand so we can ensure victories in future elections. I believe most people won't buy her crap, but she controls the gun-toting idiots, and she might be slyer than Trump. She might be the one person to make Trump look wimpy.
