The New York grand jury is handing down a felony indictment of the former POTUS. Nothing at this minute as to what the felony charge(s) consist of. The first POTUS or former POTUS has been indicted with a felony.
May justice prevail!!!

34 counts of Fraud? Who is surprised? Not me.
Next up?
I was really interested in this news yesterday and can't wait to hear his blubbering rants. Also a bit anxious about the threats he made regarding the DA and others, putting targets on their backs because he can't accept that he committed crimes and may actually be charge with them!

I believe he's fully aware he's committed crimes. That's part of the game - to get away with it - because he's "special." He's always been able to wiggle his way out of jams in the past. This time, the power of the presidency can't help him. We're all hoping, and I believe, he's gone too far and gotten himself into something his power won't get him out of.

We're all hoping, and I believe, he's gone too far and gotten himself into something his power won't get him out of. IMO...doubt he'll ever spend time behind bars. Secret Service would have to go with him and prisons don't have the facility to house them. Most likely, if anything, he'll be put on house arrest with an ankle monitor. Hope the Judge places a gag order on him too, like they did for Roger Stone. Otherwise, he's going to do a lot of damage between now and when the trial is held. He has plenty of time now, to do that, since SS postponed turning trump in today and scheduled it for Tuesday.

I agree. I don't think he will spend any time at all in a cell. Although I'd like to see that. ;)

My predictions:
He will never spend one hour in a jail cell. The most he will see in the way of consequences will be monetary judgments, confinement to a single location... Mar-A-Lago... with an ankle bracelet.
He will still be allowed to be on the ballot for POTUS. Much of his campaigning will be done before judgements get through the slow legal system(s).
The GOP will be so divided they will not field an electable candidate. If they nominate anyone but TRump, he will run as an independent and such off a significant segment of GOP voters.
The indictment in Georgia may not happen as their State legislature is trying to oust the DA that convened the grand jury.
The DOJ indictment will be the one he cannot escape from. Garland didn't have the spine to investigate and indict, but also doesn't have the spine to shut down an indictment by the grand jury currently convened.
