nypost.com/2022/09/13/inflation-is-up-13-since-president-biden-took-office-economist/nflation has surged by double digits since President Biden first entered the White House — and experts told The Post that his policies have worsened the burdens on American households. Headline inflation has jumped by more than 13% since Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, according to calculations by Peter C. Earle, economist at the American Institute for Economic Research. Core inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, increased by approximately 10% over the same period. Wages, meanwhile, have risen just 8% over the same period — resulting in an effective pay cut for ordinary Americans who are struggling to pay for daily necessities such as food, gas and rent. Biden downplayed the worse-than-expected data, pointing to improvement in gas prices as a sign that inflation has begun to moderate. ==================================================== Biden has no plan to reduce inflation. He and the D's are a big cause for inflation.

Inflation is a worldwide phenomenon, brought on by pandemic-related shipping problems/delays, supply shortages caused by natural disasters like droughts/floods/wildfires, Russia's illegal attack on Ukraine, volatile fuel prices, etc. The causes are complex and interconnected. Neither Biden nor his administration are to blame.

Your point that Biden is president and there is inflation is true. But you have not shown, that the two are connected, what fossil fuel policy, and other policies, are doing what you say.
Biden is working with Venezuela, to help the country and get more oil in to the world market, how is this doing away with fossil fuel. The money trump and Biden gave out to help with the money lost in the pandemic is too small, to cause, more them 2% to 4% inflation.(https://www.wral.com/fact-check-did-biden-s-government-spending-cause-inflation/20247768/)This article is from Apr 22, If trump and Biden money were the cause, inflation, it should be falling by now, having nothing to support it.
If you wish to start a debate, you need some facts, other any Biden being president, and we have inflation. It is pretty obvious that other force are at work in the world!

Neither Biden nor his administration are to blame. People that are concerned about facts and seek out legitimate news sources know these things. People that blame Biden are more concerned with emotional, knee-jerk propaganda and not rational truthful learning.

What is the inflation bill for 2022? SUMMARY: THE INFLATION REDUCTION ACT OF 2022 The new proposal for the FY2022 Budget Reconciliation bill will invest approximately $300 billion in Deficit Reduction and $369 billion in Energy Security and Climate Change programs over the next ten years. Its not working the way Biden and the D's sold it. Yes, Biden is working with Venezuela instead of working with oil companies in the US.

Much of the inflation suffered in the U.S. is/was caused by corporate profiteering. The oil companies wanted pain at the pump as the election neared. The GOP wants fossil fuels. The Democratic Party wants to help save the environment. Have you noticed how fuel prices have dropped since the election? Got to get them down so they can be escalated before the 2024 election.
Why not help U.S. oil companies instead of Venezuela? Hundreds of oil leases in the U.S. unused by oil companies. Why would they want more fuel in the market that would lead to decreased profits? If the U.S. oil companies want to rape the People... let's applaud Biden for trying to find other ways to reduce fuel costs. The one thing we do know is that a GOP POTUS sure wouldn't dare bite the hand that feeds them.
Going to be interesting to see what happens the first few months of 2023. So far, none of the GOP wants anything to do with solving inflation, immigration, health care... anything. All they want to do is stage performance art in an attempt to placate the MAGA cult. The GOP lack of putting forth solutions instead of just sitting back and finger pointing cost them the Senate a bunch of governorships.
No, people indoctrinated by Fox Noise and the MAGA tabloids will continue to rattle off the MAGA talking points. Former President Obama fed the hungry on Thanksgiving Day. The most recent former guy wined and dined anti-semites and white supremacists in his golf course restaurant. Yet, the GOP is silent in condemning their cult leader while MAGA leaning posters spend their time whining about the current POTUS.

You know it will not work, how? Yes, Biden is working with Venezuela instead of working with oil companies in the US.
Biden does not need to work with oil companies in the US, because they are putting out oil. The only way to lower prices is to add another source. Unless you wish to nationalize US oil. Like Venezuela
