The Bible was written by men. Frail imperfect human beings. Changed and rearranged by the Catholic church. Some books were tossed aside as insignifant while others were kept as the word of God.
Aren't all creative things like stories, songs, paintings, planting a garden an inspiration by a Higher Power?
Would an Almighty Being who created the whole wide world really need the help of mere mortals who He/She created? She created elephants and ants.
Did The Creator of all things make a mistake by making imperfect humans? He/She made the planets and messed up with people? Really? You think so?

Did The Creator of all things make a mistake by making imperfect humans? He/She made the planets and messed up with people? Really? You think so? I'm a songwriter. My level of monetary success was limited, but I established credentials, worked with some names you'd recognize, and made a living (or survived) playing my music in clubs, at shows, etc. I can't say a single song I wrote was inspired by a "higher power." I'm sure it depends on the writer's perspective, and that will vary greatly from one person to the next. I mostly wrote about things I knew about, in a variety of genres - and some things I had only my imagination to rely on - a marshal vs outlaw in the old west, for example. And I agree, if there is an almighty, why would it create such a mess - how sadistic...?

Lol, I guess you think that giving corporations and the wealthiest people on the planet most of a $1.9 trillion tax cut, while voting against using money to boost the economy, reduce the deficit, build roads and internet, reduce carbon emissions (by 40% by 2030), negotiate drug prices, cap out-of-pocket expenses at $2,000, lower healthcare premiums, make corporations and the wealthy (people making over $400K) pay their fair share, close tax loopholes, and enforce the tax code giving a net savings of $50 billion a year by 2031 will get the job done. That makes you a staunch, delusional Republican. What you stated as "what you stand for," is what Democrats stand for - not what Republicans stand for. Republicans simply fight for their sponsors' benefit - not for the benefit of the masses.

Who gave you the right to pass judgment on others? That's exactly what YOU do every time you post, "very telling," at another member.

What's not a GOP pro-business stance, The GOP only cares if business make a big profit, worker are expense items and the US is only usefully if it helps them for the same reason. You sound progressive.

Why would dragonlady respond to your absurd answer? You were asked. "What do you stand for?" Your answer was the exact opposite of the positions you've taken on this site. Pure and simple, it was BS. I'm not sure why we include you in our dialogue other than you're fun to mess with after you say some of the stupidest things - like your BS answer to, "What do you stand for?"
