In one case, a northern Virginia photographer filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Alexandria alleging that the law will compel him to photograph same-sex weddings in violation of his religious beliefs.
How you can go to court on a hypothetical case. His hypothetical right could be violated.
To have a case you would need a same-sex couple, to ask him for photographs.
Maybe his work is not that good and no hypothetical same-sex couple, wants his work.
I should not have to pay taxes the government kills people and that is against my Religion and strongly held beliefs!

They say this is about freedom of religion but it's about a little Christian sect trying to use the now conservative court to get its way. They are terrified of sharia law. State legislators are considering proposed laws that would limit the ability of courts to adjudicate lawsuits brought by Muslims, but that is the same freedom of religion they are pushing. No No they want their little sect trying to run things, Not Not real religious freedom.

No No they want their little sect trying to run things, Not Not real religious freedom. The entire subject irks me- individuals who believe the law doesn't apply to them because of their 'beliefs.' More worrisome, though, is the push to not only allow individuals to go by their own 'beliefs,' but to eliminate constitutional law entirely and replace it with 'biblical' law or 'sharia' law. When it comes to topics like you addressed specifically, my approach is individuals should either do their jobs or quit. Previous examples: refusing to bake wedding cakes for gay couples, refusing to issue a marriage license to an interracial (but opposite-sex) couple, and a stewardess refusing to serve alcohol. There've been cases where parents who didn't 'believe' in medical care allowed their little children to die, and were held criminally liable for the deaths; and cases where individuals committed so-called 'honor killings' are now sitting in prison. AS IT SHOULD BE. My 'belief': follow the laws of this land, or leave!!!!!!!!

… Clarence Thomas Refuses to Hear Kim Davis’s Case, But Calls Obergefell Decision a ‘Problem’ Only SCOTUS ‘Can Fix’
Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who famously refused to issue marriage licenses for same-sex couples, just lost her latest try to get a case in front of the Supreme Court to overturn marriage equality. But although the high court denied certiorari in Davis’s case, conservative Justice Clarence Thomas (joined by Justice Samuel Alito) went off on something of a tirade against the Supreme Court’s majority in The 2015 Obergefell case was a landmark decision in which the Supreme Court ruled that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by the United States Constitution. The 5-4 decision was penned by now-retired Justice Anthony Kennedy.
We need more equal rights laws to tie in to the court ruling.
As you can see a lot of Christians are good with gay marriage.
