The Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic have boycotted today’s planned NBA playoffs game in protest. The two teams were supposed to play in Game 5 today but are skipping the game in protest of police brutality.
It’s a historic moment in the NBA, as the Milwaukee Bucks have boycotted Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs in protest. The Bucks were set to play the Orlando Magic at 4p ET, but never came out of the locker room. The Magic were set to play but then left the court after the Bucks didn’t appear.
The future of the NBA playoffs is now in doubt. The Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder + the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers are also boycotting tonight's games. The NBA players are making their voices heard today.

Protesters win. Its asinine to cave in to the radicals...like this will stop the riots and looting in Milwaukee and other cities!
End the NBA because of what one Milwaukee or two Minneapolis did. Protest all they want.

I am not an avid sports fan and, personally, haven't watched an NBA game in years. That said, I fully support the NBA players in shutting down the playoff game(s). Sports spans many generations. There are people from 12 to 92 who enjoy watching the NBA and other professional sports. The statement made by these players will echo across the Land.
Your comment "... like this will stop the riots and looting..." has nothing to do with the NBA boycott. We need to stop the senseless killing of people of color by police. The demonstrators are exercising their rights under the Constitution. The looters need to be arrested and jailed. These are two different subsets of people. Many of the riots and much of the looting is being promoted by white supremacists. A recent video surfaced where... supposedly... a group of BLM protesters were trying to force diners in a restaurant to give some sort of a BLM "salute". If you look at the group of "BLM supporters"... notice at least one was wearing a MAGA hat. The crowd was mostly white. Agitators!
We all watched the video. Why would a police officer who had hold of a man's shirt collar have to fire st least seven rounds into the man's back?? What had he done that justified the death sentence?? Yes, he lived. With seven rounds from a 9 mm in his body. Severed spinal cord. Most intestines removed. Why? If he did get away, they had his license number and people there who could identify him. Find him and make every attempt at questioning without killing him.
Before anyone stops the demonstrations, we need to stop police being judge, jury, and executioner. Before we stop the riots and looting, we need to stop the police killing people of color which will stop the demonstrations which will stop the looting.
Oh... this gentleman in Kenosha allegedly broke up a domestic disturbance before the police arrived. Rather than let him drive away, the police officer thought he would be better off dead. In demonstrations last night, a 17 year old CAUCASIAN youth carrying an assault rifle kills two demonstrators. He is a member of the "Boogaloo" white supremacy group. He walks right past police officers... AFTER committing murder... and goes to his hotel and to bed. Not even arrested until today. But... he's "innocent until proven guilty". He's white. If he killed demonstrators the police just shrug their shoulders and let him walk. But let a 12 year old walk across a playground with a toy gun... he's black and police shoot him in the back. Let a man allegedly try to pass a counterfeit $20 bill... he's black and put a knee to his throat until you kill him. The stories go on and on. Even to the WHITE man who killed worshipers at a black church. The police arrest him and stop by Burger King on the way to the police station to buy him a hamburger. They didn't kill him. He was WHITE. It has become prevalent... much too prevalent in our daily news broadcasts to see the killing of people of color. Yes... break up a domestic disturbance and try to drive away and you get seven slugs in your back. If you are white and carrying assault rifles you can storm a state capitol and spit in the face of police officers and not a word is said or any consequences meted.
Yes! I'm fully supportive of the NBA... and the demonstrators. Perhaps when we rid ourselves of this divisive, race-baiting corrupt fool in the White House we can begin to work towards bring relief. Perhaps with some actual leadership, we can get to a point where a black female EMT can be asleep in her bed and not be shot to death by rogue cops.

I guess that it really irritates you that Black people would have the audacity to protest the continued killing of Blacks...just because they are black. How dare they!
What kind of human being do you pretend to be? Protest is a right guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America, and that right extends to ALL Americans- not just the White ones!
Is any of that really so hard to understand?
Check out the First Amendment to the Constitution(it is right in front of the Second Amendment):

Gad you support the people of color.
The people who support the dumb cop, who did not know he would start a riot, by shooting a person of color 3 times in the back are radicals,

This is what needs to happen. All pro sports should do the same. People want to say all lives matter, which is true. But what they don't acknowledge is the fact that black people are treated as if their lives matter less than others. BLM is necessary. Protest brings needed change. Have we forgotten that this country exists because of protest? Why are those who are trying to bring about equal treatment and justice vilified? We should all stand with them, demanding what's right. It's not right that unarmed black men and women are shot just because some police officer(s) can't control the situation. It's not right that rioters and looters take advantage of a situation and innocent protesters suffer for it. Rioters and looters must be identified and dealt with. It's not right that police officers either aren't charged for their crimes or, if they are charged, most of them aren't convicted. It's not right that a black man can walk down a street and be stopped for no reason, when I can walk down that same street and not even draw an officer's attention. Enough is enough. The BLM movement is gaining traction. That's what is right.

Rioters and looters must be identified and dealt, they are detrimental to the cause.
I get they are angry, but they need to turn their anger in to something constructive.

Just as I thought...you do not understand what I posted or why! Oh, no you don't, don't even try to BS you way out of taking responsibility for your own position. Some homework for you oldmontana: re-read your own words, and understand what they represent, and know that others can easily see what you are saying. Take your time, this is important.
