Jacob Blake's dad says son left paralyzed by police shooting
The police are likely trained wrong.
Given what is going on with the tension in the Black community. You would hope the police would have more sense, then to shot a person of color in the back seven times, over a reported domestic dispute.

Officers arrived and attempted to arrest Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, and used a Taser in a failed attempt to stop him, the DCI said. Blake walked around his vehicle, "opened the driver's side door, and leaned forward," the agency said. Kenosha Officer Rusten Sheskey, who has been with the department for seven years, then fired seven times into Blake's back, the agency said. No other officer fired their weapon. The agency said Blake admitted he had a knife in his possession, and law enforcement agents said they recovered a knife from the driver's side floorboard of Blake's vehicle. www.cnn.com/2020/08/27/us/jacob-blake-wisconsin-thursday/index.htmlleaned forward. likely to get in the car and was shoot in the back seven times. There was no indication given that anyone's life was under threat at that time. Because the police will not give us Officer Rusten Sheskey recourd over seven year, We must assume the worst ( unless the police become more transparent, We can not give officers the benefit of doubt)

I don't believe they are trained wrong...it's an adrenaline rush. As soon as the body faces some stressful or threatening situation, adrenaline is released immediately which makes them act out impulsively, without thinking decisions through.
Perhaps that is what some of their training should focus on...reining this in.
I was gobsmacked and infuriated watching the video of Blake being shot like he was. Listening to the video, I heard 8 shots ring out. 7 hit him, is what was reported. Officers are trained to count their shots.

Yes, this is big known problem in car chases ( adrenaline rush) when the police catch the person, they want to attack them.
They do have training for this. If they are not train to deescalate and deal with the adrenaline rush, they are train wrong.

Jacob Blake's dad said today that his paralyzed son was handcuffed to his bed. He didn't commit a crime, he is the victim. Even if there is a crime they can charge him with, he's not going to be trying to escape.

7 or 8 times in the back? At close range?
Anybody on here honestly believe if he was a White man he would have even been shot once?
If you do I have a used car you might be interested in buying. Cheap. Low mileage. Excellent condition. Call me.
