I raised an orphaned goat last year to be my hiking pal with my dog. Actually it has worked out so well that I have started to take my goat, Sven, on little runs with me. He loves it and runs and bounces playfully along side me. He thinks it is a wonderful game to play. Catch the human! Here is a shot of him going cross country skiing with me this winter: I do enjoy my animal friends!

That is such a neat idea. I assume your dog and Sven get along well.

Goats are so Cool! We had a couple when we lived out on the acreage. They were always following us around and jumping up to be hugged. I just adored them - and baby goats? They are a riot to watch - the baby miniature goat especially are just adorable - watching they play is so entertaining. They have such a ball!

I don't have any goats. I pet sat for 2 goats a few years back and you're all right. They were fun, very friendly, and too cute for words.
