Coronavirus in jails or prisons by Vox "The next site of a deadly coronavirus outbreak may not be a cruise ship, conference, or school. It could be one of America’s thousands of jails or prisons."This was something I didn't think about until late last night. There is no social distancing in prisons? Not that I would know. What happens to those who die from Coronavirus? What happens when our funeral homes and morgues are over run? I see in some countries that the morgue that bodies are being stockpiled... I didn't get the link but read a story about how Iran is doing mass graves? This stuff is enough to make me want to bury my head in the sand and stay home forever.

Did not think of that either. Seems like some businesses are going to make tons of money out of this.

I can tell you first hand(worked in jails & prisons) that inmates always practice social distancing, not just over concern of communicable diseases, but with racial and gang affiliations. Many inmates become very much OCD "germophobes"....as do staff members as well.

My husband, who also worked in prisons after he retired from the Army, always said that keeping your distance reduced the danger of winding up with a shank in your gut.
