I've had MANY friends over my long life, long before the internet. I stayed single after first marriage ended, this got me out and about all over the place to meet and make friends.
I have some on the forums, but believe I probably have more frienemies around here. Just a thought on this issue. One can "get" who doesn't like them. And vice versa I suppose.
I have a lot of opinions that don't mesh with many here, but as long as the games are friendly that is good.

joymarty , I don't dislike you at all, but your attitude can be off-putting at times. Try replacing un-asked-for medical advice about remedies with simple expressions of empathy, and people will probably warm up to you.
I know you mean well, and are a good person. Having differing opinions and philosophies about life does not make people enemies or 'frienemies' (unless, of course, you're Trump, haha!).

F.L. I don't think anyone has posted about any health issues that I can recall here. And if they did and were asking for suggestions/opinions, I would go to the "patient heal thyself" way first of all. This is how I feel it works and I've worked this way starting back in the 80's, I've had damage and don't go to keep getting damage if I can help it.
I don't have a love for Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Big Govt...big big big...
I don't know what this empathy thing means in your books...and if most won't warm up to me that's OK, their choice. And if they "get" anything from what I post, that is good. I've been on groups that Publish areas for alternative thinking health healers, and that's not the case here. It's one area. So I publish away on my ways and millions of others worldwide. Not so much here on this pretty small group.
I go back to the Toughlove theory in life.

Your off-putting attitude is on full display right here, and I give up trying to reason with you! You took a thread that was meant to be light-hearted fun and turned it into inappropriate negativity. You owe the O.P. an apology for that!

Please forgive me, it's all in one's perception. Holy Cow. We are all different, or should we all be the same? And where does it say what we can or can't post in the Friendship post? I don't post cartoons but words and thoughts and opinions, yes. No harm meant by me and again it's all in one's perception. A sweet, sugar coating person I am not. I'll help anyone I can thou, almost anyone. My winnings from any lottery would GO primarily to those who have not.

My best pals and I played a game of hide and seek. It went on for hours... Well, good friends are hard to find.

My newest friend is my big brown oaf of a dog, Henry. I adopted him in July or early August a few months after my previous dog died. We are having a great time together. He LOVES to ride in the car, so I take him with me everywhere I can and he thinks it's all a great adventure.

I always owned a big dog that rode with me almost everywhere. Now that I live in a condominium complex, I can only have a pet that is not more than 20 lbs. So I have a loving cat now. It's not the same as a "big brown oaf of a dog." Give Henry a hug for me. Big dogs are wonderful.
