The rich corporate type, that own the media have push things in this direction. Government is the bad guy. They do not push the only way to fix it is to get involved in Government. They vilify all the people so almost no one knows, the good one from the bad.
You get companies like corrupt book. that know that people are thinking, before they think it and
use it to make money, not help people. People are so disillusioned they do not even vote.
and the rich smile all the way to their mansion.

Annie, I agree with your husband. Racism went underground for a few decades because displaying it could have social and financial repercussions . Hidden, it festered and grew, like an deep infection not truly healed just scabbed over.
The election and then success and re-election of a black man brought their anger, fear and resentment to the surface. The Republican Party saw it and fed it.
Like any other deep infections it must be cleaned out and healed but I don't see that happening in the near future. If Trump is re-elected, it may never happen. That will indicate that we have passed the point of no return.

I fear more than Trump he just idiot and big mouth but I fear his crazed followers Today I in Metro man wearing MAGA hat was yelling to his companion that Trump was completely innocent and the Democrats were evil and wanted to destroy him.... wow.....He said they should take up arms and fight for him....  I decided to take train in opposite direction to get away from those lunatics But they no alone... there are many just like them out there As a psychologist, I found that highly disturbing |
