It is so disappointing to see the effect this latest version of Trump politics is having. Start reading comment sections on news articles posted on Yahoo, Reuters, etc. These people are going nuts, feeling emboldened by Trump's "Love ME today or leave the USA" Tweet storm. Frightening the comments about sending people of color back "home". Frightening the comments about making sure no more "Mooslums" get elected and making sure these four fureniers don't finish their terms.
These illiterate, hate motivated, can't count past the number of guns they own, are those who are Trump's base. Instead of condemning the actions and words of Trump, they are crawling out of their roach houses and championing him and the Congressional GOP members who are standing behind this idiot. These people will drag their wives, their sisters, their mother-in-laws... could all be the same person... to the polls and vote in 2020. While the Democrats and other people who possess a conscience and common sense sit at home because they are mad their pick of the 23 candidates isn't on the ballot!
A win in 2020 will only tell this deranged POTUS he has the backing to further his racist agenda. We're in trouble, folks. At least a dozen of the current Dem candidates need to go home and work diligently to see we turn the Senate and the White House. Get off your ego driven, 15 minutes of fame campaigns. Your civic duty is NOT to see your face and name on MSNBC and CNN. Your duty to YOUR country is to find where you can make the most impact in making certain 2020 does not mark the end of our nation.

It is imperative that control of the Senate and the White House leaves Republican hands with the next election. Otherwise the country will suffer irreparable damage. Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell have made a mockery of democracy and decency and must not be re-elected.

Whatever happened to the Republicans being the Big Tent Party and the Party of Inclusion. Didn't Romney invite everybody into the tent? Or do I have my (R) candidates confused?

There is no more Republican party as far as I can see. It's now the Trump party. It's not even a political party anymore. It's a cult. Like all cults it has a whacked out leader with dead eyed, dumbed down, zombie like loyal followers, who long to march in the streets carrying torches, and hateful signs. Why? Because they know intelligent ideas like inclusion and acceptance will topple their destructive, hateful, and deadly control.
They're a ticking time bomb fearful of progress and would rather go backward than forward. They are the minority now. Progress will happen with or without them. They have to make it miserable first. It's what they do and who they are.
