an abc/wapo poll states that 44%of voters approve of trump.this, despite a vast majority stating that he acts unpresidential. as of now,the democrats can still beat him in 2020 but it's going to take a strong democratic candidate with a plan that shows we''ll probably maintain our economic gains w/out trump..however, a lot can change between now and then. and polls should be taken with a grain of salt.

I could be WAY off, but I think some of Trump's so-called economic gains are bogus and/or only work to the benefit of the 1% or are only on-paper gains. I don't know anyone personally who has benefited from said economic gains. It certainly isn't happening here in NM. Businesses are closing, homelessness is on the rise, wages are stagnant but prices are rising, and we don't see any signs of the zillion jobs Trump has allegedly created.

Companies around here are laying off a lot of people.
As to impeachment, five people that voted for T, told me they thought he would be impeached by now. Why would you vote for someone that you thought was going to be impeached?

Why would you vote for someone that you thought was going to be impeached? They didn't think he'd win. Then they were hoping it would be a lark for a while and an actual politician could step in. Just a guess. It's all fun and games until somebody (or a country) gets hurt.

He is such a sicko he'd love an impeachment. So would his cult followers. They'd be shouting from the rooftops about a Witch hunt, lying Democrats, and all the other BS these delusional nut jobs thrive on.
Suds, Russia did not like Hillary and they convinced the sheeple not to like her either.
Was she perfect? Nope. Was she an ego maniacal unqualified jerk? Nope. She was a brilliant politician who would have made a great president. Russia didn't want that so they picked a patsy and the sheeple fell for it.
Don't forget Hillary got 3 million more votes than this waste of flesh. It's safe to say people did indeed like her.
Just saying.

a plan that shows we''ll probably maintain our economic gains w/out trump I don't really believe we've made economic gains. But the average Joe has been hoodwinked into believing the claims that things are great. They may not see it in their own pockets yet, but trump says it's great so they're waiting to get theirs. They just know that windfall is on the way! I don't know why people keep voting for candidates that aren't doing them any favors. Do they think trump's their genie in a bottle? Rub his belly until the money starts flowing from whatever body part they've got their noses stuck up? Oops, sorry, I forgot McConnell's nose got there first.

LOL!
You really hit the nail on the head, Notmydad! That is one of our biggest problems. We want to believe so we do. Even with the facts right under our noses we will ignore them and believe lies because the lies sound so much better than the painful truth.
I guess it's easier to accept lies that make us feel good rather than rolling up our sleeves and working hard to expose the lies, even if it hurts, and replace them with Truth. The truth will set you free - but first it will make you miserable. lol.

No one called me nor my family for the poll. Thing is though, we do need something to drop prices of houses so regular working class can afford a simple house. House prices are wayyyyyyy inflated. Sorry, but not only college educated and hi pay deserve a house,, so do the blue collar working class. I don;t know about anywhere else, but up here, what use to sell for mid 120's are up over 200,000 plus. Not everyone is college material. If things keep going the way they are, even rents will be for college educated too, and the blue collar workers will be homeless. IMO.

Housing prices have gone nuts. Rents are already out of reach for many in this area. - and a lot of it is due to the buying up of houses by real estate companies rather than individuals. The houses are then sold at highly inflated prices or rented at highly inflated rents. This is even worse in places like San Francisco, San Jose, Portland (Or.)and even here in Vancouver. This house cost $40,000 in 1979; today $250,000+. I get solicitations to sell this house all the time from real estate agents. In most cases this puts them out of the reach of blue collar workers. This may be another factor separating Dem voters from GOP voters and fueling the antagonism between them

Regarding real estate prices: don't expect housing to become affordable anytime soon, with a president whose main business pursuit has been real estate investment.

The same is true here where I live. Housing costs just keep going higher and higher, but wages do not.

I'd like to know exactly who did the poll or study and who paid for it.
If those who grow sugar cane did a study on the health benefits of sugar would you run out and stock up on it according to their results?
