I really enjoyed the debate last evening and got to place names with faces of some of the contenders I didn't know.
This morning as I read the news, it was refreshing to read about something other than trump and his family or Sarah S.
Tim Ryan really impressed me as did Amy Klobuchar and Tulsi Gabbard. Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker did well, but I did not like Beto O'Rourk. His speaking Spanish in answering the very first question was jarring to me, although I assumed to know the reason for it.
Bill DeBlasio impressed me, too. He is a little rough around the edges, but he is a New Yorker and that's how they operate.
Anyone of the ten would be better to have as President than the present Chief Twitterer.
What did you all think?
(I'm wondering why 45 hasn't put down anyone yet.)

I agree that any one of them will be better than what we now have.
DeBlasio......too pushy, I didn't like his butting in on others
Booker......impressive
Klobuchar.....cool and smart
Warren......IMO, best all around

O'Rourke rubbed me the wrong way when he dodged the first question. He was asked about a 70% tax bracket and went from English to Spanish and back to English, but never answered the question. He was asked again and he still didn't answer. The third request resulted in a half-hearted response. I thought he was using this stage to give his talking points as opposed to answering questions. As of this morning, I would not choose O'Rourke over most of the others last night.

Klobuchar/Warren ticket works for me. Or, Warren/Kolbuchar. I'm not that picky. Lol.
It was so refreshing to see all those reasonable, thoughtful, and sane Democrats on that stage. All bright eyed, reasonable, and good looking.
They were like a breath of fresh air. They even smiled! There truly is a big difference between the parties these days.
One resembles a gang of angry, meanspirited, thoughtless, nasty, selfish, bitter, thugs and the other doesn't. Lol.

From last night's group...
I'd take a Warren/Castro ticket. Warren has a plan already in place for most every issue. Castro came out of nowhere and was impressive. I would love to see a Pence/Castro debate!!! Castro would point out Pence's hypocrisy and faux Christianity in a way in terms every voter could understand.
DeBlasio... We don't need another New York bully in the White House. Has had some questionable situations in his present position. Booker... Will have great difficult bringing in the moderates we need to win this thing. Spent too much time about his upbringing and where he lives and …. instead of spelling out solutions to the issues. Klobucher… I really like her. Has a good background as a prosecutor. Just don't know that she could come across as one with the ability to take over and turn around the mess we are in today. Gabbard... I REALLY like her!! Military background. Self-admitted PTSD challenges. Think she could be a commendable choice as VP. Just did not seem to have the depth required to run the country. Experience in the VP position would assist in bringing her to the point we would not be afraid when she is "one heartbeat away". Inslee and Ryan, IMHO, are not electable. They may be good people, but need to stay home. O'Rourke... Go back to Texas and run for Senate. You appeared like a dunce with your answers to the debate questions.

Come on, 2old. Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel. Lol. ☺ And, may have a completely different opinion after tonight's debate. They keep saying last night was the "B" team. I'm not convinced our candidate will come from tonight's group. There are some excellent people from last night who could make credible candidates. Fun and games..... Oh! I apologize. Was supposed to "hold back"!!!

I said don't hold back. Lol. 😲 B team. Anybody else sick and tired of the label thing? Ugh. Yep! All 20 should be judged equally, at this point in time. Still, there are some clear front runners. This early debate allows those thought not to be legitimate contenders to step forward and show that they deserve consideration. I feel that is what Castro did last night. Of course, it also allows some to fall flat on their face and... hopefully... begin narrowing the field. Last night, that was O'Rourke.

I was Pro Warren months ago and I also would be very very happy with any of them vs what we have, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. And... over the past months, I was NOT a Warren supporter. I felt it seemed as if she was "screeching" and was way too far left to be electable. Slowly, I warmed to her. Last night, she seemed to be the one candidate among the rest on that stage who had the knowledge of issues and solutions to be President of the United States... and a good one! It seems to me she is hard set in her own ideology, but has the acumen to find bipartisan solutions. One thing we must keep in mind. The leaders of the GOP base... Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, etc. … stated the day after Obama was elected that not one thing he proposed could be allowed to move through the Republican Congress. The GOP followed that protocol for the entire eight years of the Obama administration. We know that no matter which Democrat is elected in 2020, those same pundits will direct their minions in Congress to shut down the government before passing anything a Democrat would get credit for. Things would be so much easier if we could turn the Senate AND the White House. That may be an unrealistic goal. The obstructionism that will be demonstrated by the GOP can only be challenged by someone with the experience and "cunning" to succeed.

They are a bunch of basturds. Mean spirited, envious, greedy, obnoxious, hateful, racist and bigoted slime balls. With the blessing of evangelicals. I shouldn't be surprised. Lucifer was an angel.
