You have $1 million for 24 hours. What you don't spend in that time goes back to the giver. What are the first 5 things you will spend money on before the 24 hours expires?
Purchase new townhome, etc. where we no longer need worry about yardwork, maintenance, etc.
Write checks to all three kids that they could dispense as they see fit to the grandkids.
A couple of my wife's friends in their 80's are really struggling financially. Set up accounts for each of them for housing and health related issues.
Replace both vehicles.
Purchase $250,000 in gold so we don't have to worry about taxes, insurance, etc. on the new home and vehicles.

Name 5 things you like about winter. (Not one darn thing!!! But...) Snowfall can be pretty and, retired, I don't have to drive in it if I don't want to. Finally have some "home time" to catch up on some tasks I've procrastinated about during the better weather months. The gigantic shingle oak in our front yard. Every other tree in the area has lost their leaves. She doesn't lose hers until spring. Her leaves turn a beautiful rust color and she's picturesque. Not uncommon to have someone stop and ask questions about her. Some of the tv series begin dropping new season episodes during the late fall and winter. The realization that my beautiful wife and I can actually be stuck at home for an entire day...together...and not be throwing barbs or dishes at each other by day's end!! What are 5 uses for water other than drinking.

Name 5 things about Christmas that drives you crazy.
How early in the year retailers begin displaying Christmas seasonal items.
The money spent on gigantic Christmas trees by so many municipalities that could be used providing food baskets for the needy of the community.
As children have in-laws and children...as grandchildren have in-laws and children...As the cycle of life keeps moving forward and spreading out it becomes more and more difficult to get everyone together for a Christmas meal.
As a child, we would get excited about a gift of new underwear, a shirt, etc. Today, the kids and grandkids have the latest in technology, clothing...most anything they need. So, we've begun doing the cash/gift card thing rather than disappoint with gifts they either already have of don't want/need.
If family is here. there's more interest in watching football than celebrating and catching up.
What would you say are the 5 most predominate colors one sees in Christmas decorations, public displays, etc. during the season.
