Yesterday I took Bella to the vet for routine shots, I had noticed that she was not feeling up to par and told the vet this, he ran a blood test and found that she has pancreatitis and borderline diabetes.
He sent us home with 2 meds and 2 cases of very expensive proscription dog food. She loves the new dog food and I can already see an improvement in her.
I have been guilty of over feeding her and occasionally feeding her human food, she had gained 3 pounds and I'm sure this contributed to the pancreatitis, also I read her breed is more susceptible to getting it. I also read comments from other dog owners that pancreatitis is controllable by diet and you can bet I'll follow the vet's orders.
So....learn from my mistakes, folks.....Keep your dog's weight down and don't feed them from your plate.

Sorry your Bella is not feeling well, but the meds and special food should have her back to normal before long. I'm glad the situation was caught before it worsened.

Kady, so sorry your Bella is sick, we had two Schnauzer-Poms(were litter mates) that went through this. I hope the special diet and meds will be effective in preventing a recurrence.

Thank you all for the comments, Bella continues to improve.....the meds are antibiotics and something for her liver, the liver meds will probably be for rest of her life.
I'm just going to have to be very diligent with her food and meds from here on.
