I played “name that thing” ruby I want to strangle it it doesn’t spell words correct …..I’m mean the Aussie way If you folks would just use z's instead of s's and leave out those unnecessary u's.... i mean, isn't American English the only "correct" English??

All I can say is the pilgrims brought the English language over to America when they emigrated here a few centuries ago. Maybe when they came over here they had their own millenials who didn't like that extra "u" that you use and thought "Z" sounded better than "S" in some cases. I will try to find the explanation for those changes when I finish playing the Forum Games today. I sincerely apologize to those who didn't want more word games to play!

Happy Mother's Day to all the ladies who play Forum Games. You are the GREATEST!!! Enjoy you ladies and hope you had a great day.
I know this is probably not Mother's Day in Australia. Still, you ladies don't get recognized enough for being who you are and what you are.

Just letting y'all know that I haven't abandoned or am ignoring anyone here.
I've been very sick lately, that I just can't keep awake & sleep and sleep. Thank goodness for my hubby trying to keep me fed and hydrated.
I'll be back when I'm feeling better.

Get better quickly dearest Drifter. I have missed you but I totally understand why you are missing in action. Isn't it wonderful to have a caring partner?

I'll attempt getting caught up early a.m. as I normally do. Ordered new glasses. I have two pair. One pair goes gradually from far sight to near sight across the lens. Those I wear indoors and use for most tasks of reading, computer work, etc. The other pair transitions darker in the sunlight. They have a really small bifocal in the lowest part of the lens. These are my outdoor glasses for golfing, yard work, etc.
Only one pair came in, the outdoor pair. Quite a bit different prescription. The second pair won't be in for another week or so. If I put the indoor pair on to do Forum Games in the morning, will have difficulty adjusting to the new outdoor pair for playing golf. If I wait until back home, should be able to go back to the indoor pair without significant trouble. Will see what happens.

Drifter - Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I'm glad your husband is taking such good care of you. Hope you are back to playing Forum Games soon. 2old - It sometimes takes a while to adjust to new glasses. It is frustrating, buy you can do it!
