joybelle, that's quite alright!!! At times, it almost seems like a "job" and we have to get all the games answered. Needs to be fun... not work!!! Just hope everything is okay with you!! Go give "P" a big hug and everything will be okay! I've been extra cranky this past couple weeks. My wife has warned me she's put up with me for 56 years, but if I don't straighten up she ain't gonna tolerate me another 56!!!! :>) The next few weeks, the schedule for my rehab is changing. The appointments were at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. With frost delays, this time of year, the early afternoon appointments cut short my golf. Frost gone enough to open the course as late as 11 a.m. made it difficult to play, get home, change clothes, and get to the appointment. So... just to accommodate this old guy... they have moved the appointments to 6:30 a.m. MWF. Now I can go to the 1 1/2 hour appointments, home to change clothes, and still have plenty of time to tee off with the guys!!! I usually do the games early a.m. while eating breakfast... usually in the 6 a.m. time frame. Sometimes if I don't get them all done, I'll return late afternoon. Now, on MWF, will probably be doing games later in the day...or might miss a day here and there.

I agree with you that the games need to be fun, not a chore. All the best with the rehab Mr Cranky lol. Being unwell tests the best of us. I am fine. I have have a few things on my plate at the moment.

Warning. If I muck up on some of the games please be gentle. Hubby had a procedure this arvo in hospital and it is now 7.15 pm. I have phoned the hospital - response - he is either in theatre or recovery. He went into the hospital at 12.30 and it is a relatively minor procedure. Hmmmm.

Everything is OK thanks 2old. Hubby went in for some ortho surgery. Taking a bone spur off of the elbow, removing a floater and lifting the nerve so it doesn't get caught and cause a lot of pain. Hubby stayed in hospital overnight. When I spoke to him this morning he was sitting up to a three course breakfast - cereal, croissant and a toasted sandwich. He said he is just fine and can do more with his arm that what he thought he can do. I will go and pick him soon. Today's games might be given a miss though.

Sorry! Today was a full day. Cardio rehab at 6:30 a.m. and never stopped from there. Heavy icy fog this morning so the golf course was going to open late. Rain errands. Continued bringing indoor Christmas decorations up from downstairs. Don't think I sat down until about 5:00 this afternoon. Tried to catch up this evening.

Just stop 2old . Enjoy the day and don't stress about the forum. It never stresses me out!!! I just enjoy the break from the other stresses in life. My wife gets upset when I'm awake at 3 a.m., "stressing" about something. (It's 4 a.m. now and I've been up for an hour!) Let's see... The stresses of today that had me rolled out of bed early... Upset about our internet provider. Spending lots of time analyzing if we want to stay where we are or go to a different provider. Do I want to stay with the current driver in my golf bag or trade it for a different one. This one is a little balky. Every golf club in my bag has a unique personality. Some just need left sitting in the basement in "time out" for a few days. We'll try that with this driver. If it doesn't change her attitude, she may be in the local golf shop's used bin. Election of officers coming up next Monday for our golf course new Board of Directors. Who do I want to see leading the Board for 2023. Major brain stress!! See! All my "stresses" are so major! I mean, earth shattering! I just need Forum Games to take me away from all this!!! Honestly, my wife and I are so lucky to have our health and some sense of security. All it takes is a little look around at so many our age and see them dealing with all kinds of debilitating health issues and financial crisis. When one of the guys gets upset over a bad golf shot, I tell them to just remember those who would love to be out there swinging a club no matter where the ball goes!! And... I just have to meet the responsibility set before me to make certain I have "2old" over in that last column on EVERY single Forum Game! My goodness... The Earth may stop turning if I fail that task!!!

Probably won't post tomorrow. One of those days on tap. 6:30 a.m. to 7:30, hospital for my cardio rehab. Leave there and head across town for an 8:00 appointment to get the oil changed in my wife's car. From there to a 9:00 a.m. meeting with the outgoing and incoming Treasurers for our golf course. Home by 11:00 and lunch. Daughter and SIL picking us up at 1:00 to head east about an hour and a half to attend the granddaughter's pinning for her RN degree at 3:00. Hope to be back here by 6:00 p.m. to have dinner with daughter and family before the snow moves in around 7 p.m. Sheesh! I'm already worn out just thinking about it!!!!

Wow! You ladies really worked hard, yesterday! Almost three pages of "catch up" for me! Meanies!!! :>)
Ice, snow, and -30F windchill this morning. Picked up the 16 year old granddaughter and took her to work at 7 a.m. Didn't want her or her mother driving in this mess. Grandpa's gotta do what grandpas do.
