In other words they were a bunch of tax cutting Republicans. As for the Revolutionary war I am already on record as saying America would have been better off if they lost. England went on to abolish slavery in 1833. We didn't until 30 years later. Plus England now has Universal Health Care. And what do we have? Obamacare. So how are we better off? Just look at Canada. They never rebelled. And they are a lot better off than we are.

I maintain my position that whomever wrote this is a gutless coward and I will have nothing but contempt for them and anyone else that operates in this manner. Well I have nothing but the utmost respect for the guy that raises his hand and yells "yep, I did it"....as he is then led off to the firing squad. The Sons of Liberty may have been a bunch of chicken $h!t cowards, but I think they knew that a British bayonet or hangman's noose was waiting for them, if they were to be discovered.

My guess who be most of them.

My guess who be most of them. More than likely, that's true. Most(if not all) of the Founding Father's were wealthy property owners, which means that they had slaves. The wealthy and moneyed are the ones with the biggest grievances toward England's taxation. The average colonists were farmers, which meant they were pretty self-sufficient and unaffected by Imperialist policies, kind of like the rice farmers in [former]South Vietnam. They didn't care which corrupt puppet regime was in Saigon, they just cared about their water buffalo, growing a good rice crop and getting enough fish for the next meal.

This may be way out, but I wonder if this internal "resistance" isn't aiming to keep trump in and doing the least amount of harm until he can be voted out - this would keep Pence out of the office.

I wonder how much more damaging Pence could be than Trump. Is there anything left for Pence to screw up?

Not way out at all. I've wondered the same. The GOP is big on dirty tricks. Their favorite motto is "All's fair in love, war and politics," the h@ll with truth or what's good for the country.

Got it figured out!!! It's Kelly Ann Conway! Has to be. She is on Jake Tapper's CNN show this morning. I think she is blatantly admitting it. Why??? It's her dress.... 1.) The dress is solid white. Fashion folks will tell you it is not proper to wear white after Labor Day. Her white dress is a poke in the eye to Melania. "Look at me, Melania. I am doing my job trying to control your out-of-control husband... without wearing coats with stupid slogans on the back!" 2.) The dress is solid white. White is to project "innocence"... "virginity". She is using the white dress as sarcasm, wearing white while knowing she is the "guilty" one. 3.) What more apropos way to bring down a President than a dress. Wasn't a blue dress involved in the last impeachment process? Amazing detective work. Don't you agree?????
