Good afternoon to all- Just sitting here waiting for the hurricane to come ashore. Not a big one or bad one, but still...
Bob Woodward's new Book- Fear- sounds like something I will buy and read. The early blurbs and review make the tRump operations seems even more frightening, obtuse, disorganized, and downright stupid than I thought, and I truly thought the band of thugs and the head thug were pretty bad. I have been impressed with Mr. Woodward's traditional journalism and level of research, and I think he has done another good job here.
But, dear God, reading about the day to day operation of tRump is enough to make a person despair.
Good evening to all- Ed

I find it interesting that Bob Woodward has been doing this for every incumbent president since Nixon. One would think that every new president would have the whole collection in his library to read as part of his preparation for the job.
I would very much like to see the titles in Donald Trump's personal library. They would probably cement my opinion of the man, but still, I could be pleasantly surprised. (Takes tongue out of cheek and shakes head).

He did do a great job coloring flag stripes. Maybe his library is only coloring books he completed and can show folks as he explains they are the very finest example of the use of crayons ever accomplished by a President of the United States... or any leader in World History.

This came from a Post article: "Instead of relying on the written word, Trump relies on the nitwits who opine on the Fox News channel. I’ve previously suggested that Fox News is Trump’s RT, but that’s not quite right: Putin is too smart to believe what his own propagandists say. Not Trump: If “Fox & Friends” tells him that a “caravan” of Central American refugees is about to invade the United States, Trump will faithfully echo their hysteria. He even seeks out Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs off air for their fortune-cookie insights. Trump is proud of his lack of “book learnin’. ” During the 2016 campaign, he bragged, as The Post noted, “that he does not need to read extensively because he reaches the right decisions ‘with very little knowledge other than the knowledge I [already] had, plus the words “common sense.” In practice, Trump’s policies defy any kind of sense, common or otherwise." I think that pretty well sums it up.

the bottom line??? Trump does NOT have the intelligence he so many times brags about.... rational human beings do not go amok every time someone disagrees with them or screams fake news when they don't like something said in the media.... this is truly an individual who should have never been elected to our highest office... Someone not up to the mental stability required for POTUS... He is getting more and more erratic.... But...... he did come up with some unexpected wisdom once....
“One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace. Good people don’t go into government.”
How right you are #45

Right now, we owe our salvation to people like Woodward. They're willing to stand up and call the shots as they see them...publicly.
