Ummm..... Not really..... a bisexual is sexually attracted to either sex.... but a pansexual can be attracted to many different combinations.... Male female transsexual etc..... I am bisexual even though my partner is exclusively lesbian.... I don't have a male sexual partner at this moment but that doesn't mean I don't find males attractive. I can not find myself attracted to a transsexual male or female.... O.K., I get that, although It seems to be a matters of labels, that goes beyond gender. Being a pansexual or bi-sexual are not "genders" per se, more like points of preference. The "identity" aspect is an individual choice, which is fine, but as far as human sexual biology is concerned, there are: females...and males. This kinda sounds like what I've been hearing in recent years.
And I agree with your viewpoint.

Oy! I have a headache from this discussion. QuickSilver ~ I think Brandon Urie is just trying to get some publicity. Interesting subject. But that woman on FB who called you "hateful, and unwilling to learn and also a stupid old lady" is stupid if she can't think of a better reply to you other than an insult. Actually, Brendon Urie (lead singer of Panic! at the Disco), has no need to try and get publicity from this. He has a well-known band that's been around since 2004 & a very well-known personality. He also has been very open about his sexuality from day one and has often discussed it in interviews... it just seems that someone decided they should write about it at this point in time. Personally, it doesn't make any difference to me either way. I like his music... and that's that.

I've never heard of Pansexual. Some new word for a persons sexuality choice I guess.

chinadoll1981 ... So I'm going to ask a serious question.. because I'm interested in learning.. I have a very hard time with wrapping my head around transsexuals.. I have heard of men identifying as women.. yet still only being attracted to other women, not men, and claiming to be lesbians.. very confusing to me.. If you are attracted to women only and you are a male.. why not just stay a male?

Fireheart ~ I had never heard of Brandon Urie or Panic! at the Disco. I looked him up on Wikipedia and he is only 31 yrs. old. So he hasn't been around too long. I can't keep up with all the performers out there. When I glance through People Magazine at the library, I recognize maybe 1 of 3 people featured. It gets worse as I grow older.

Don't feel bad.. I've never heard of him either... Nor me. Being in my upper 30's, Brendon's band started out and got popular when I was in my 20's. I also have 2 teenage daughters who listen to his music, so that's how I'm so aware of who he is and his music career. He might seem young to you all, but I find it kinda cool that his music has lasted long enough (14 years thus far) for both myself and my daughters to be fans.

I have heard of men identifying as women.. yet still only being attracted to other women, not men, and claiming to be lesbians.. very confusing to me.. If you are attracted to women only and you are a male.. why not just stay a male? I find that hard to understand too. I understand gay, lesbian and bisexual,,, but transsexual confuses me. Born a male, see's self as female, lesbian, likes girls, and the other way around,, born a girl, see;s self as male but likes males... Makes no sense.... I can see if male and female were born but see;s them selves as other, and the male identifies as female and likes males, and the female identifies as male and likes females. But don't want to get involved in the body their born in because they don't feel right partaking in gay or lesbian sex because the brain is telling them they are in the wrong body's and they are not gay or lesbian. I do believe it happens in the womb during development. Something goes terribly wrong. Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual are one thing,,,, but being trapped in a body a person isn;t suppose to be in,,, that is terrible. I do have a heart for those people... Some call; them gay or lesbian, when infact they are not mentally.

Psychologically, these individuals are identifying solely as females.... they don't feel "normal" in a male's body... this you may hear as "I never felt like a guy" etc... They identify solely as a female.... as for homosexuality.... again.... their preference for female sexual partners has really nothing to do with the biological sex they born with.... they just prefer females for sexual partners.....

Answer...masochists. I can't relate to, or respect, anyone who enjoys pain or inflicting pain. Beyond all that...if it feels good, do it.
