From what I see on the news these Immagrants appear to be poor! Are they the only ones being persecuted in their countries? Where are the wealthy Immagrants? Not trying to be snarky, but this makes no sense to me. nkat The overwhelming majority of immigrants crossing into the United States are poor, looking for jobs. I suppose there are immigrants coming here(maybe from Middle East countries) that are fleeing political persecution. Wealthy immigrants arrive with the cooperation and blessing of the U.S. government.

I took it as a person living in this country. Not in the military over 18 born in the USA.
NKat
With this, I should of already been a citizen.

nkat Escaping poverty & crime not unreasonable is it? Apparently surging violent crime, massive tax hikes and insolvent public pensions are bad for attracting new residents...who knew? On the other hand, 364 days of sunshine per year, minimal crime, brand new infrastructure and some of the lowest tax rates in the country seems to be, to our complete shock, somewhat appealing to folks looking to relocate. But that is just a couple of many interesting takeaways to be gleaned from the latest annual "U.S. Migration Report" from North American Moving Services which found that Illinois was the most ditched state in 2017. www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-01-05/americans-are-ditching-these-five-states-record-numbersThe real question is with other countries available to migrate to why America? What do illegal migrants exoect in America?

If you are a foreign national living in the US and you did not enter legally, there is NO path to citizenship.

I took it as a person living in this country. Not in the military over 18 born in the USA. NKat With this, I should of already been a citizen. The point of the quiz is that if you are just an average person who was born and living in a foreign country with no US military service.. You can't come here. So telling the undocumented to "Get in line" or "Go through legal channels" is pointless.. If you come illegally, or if you come on a visa and overstay it.. you are illegal and you cannot apply for citizenship.
Here are the requirements to apply for US citizenship
The following are the essential requirements for applying for citizenship, a process called naturalization:
You must hold a green card for five years and continuously reside in the U.S. (meaning that you live there without leaving for trips of six months or longer),
You must be physically present inside the U.S. for at least 30 months before applying
You must have lived in the state where you will submit the application for at least three months
You need to be reasonably proficient in the English language
You need to be familiar with American history, government and society
You need to be able to make an Oath of allegiance (There are some exceptions for those whose religion does not allow oathes).

It's not supposed to be easy. When I was born the US had a population of 150 million. Today it's over twice that. The place is getting too d*mned crowded. If the Super Bowl is being played in a stadium with a capacity of 100,000 and 100,000 tickets have been sold do you keep selling tickets? It's time to shut the door IMO. Tell em to watch their fingers. I really wonder about you sometimes... So often you sound like a Right Wing Troll... other times a Russian bot. I'm a liberal. But I'm not a bleeding heart liberal.

I'm sure proud that I AM..
www.governmentandpolitics.net/1319/what-is-the-definition-of-a-bleeding-heart-liberal
A Bleeding Heart Liberal may be defined as one who holds Liberal, Progressive or Democrat political views and who is extremely sympathetic toward people who suffer extreme hardships, disabilities or economic deprivations and who seek to help people such as those with what has been termed "Entitlement" programs like Social Security, Food Stamps and Aid To Dependent Children.
The term is sometimes used as a derogatory reference by some who embrace more or less eccentric or extremist ultra-conservative political views.

Well you sure as Hell don't fit that definition with your opposition to Bernies agenda. You're nothing but a Bourgeois Chicago Society Matron pretending to care about the ordinary people that you gaze down upon through your $20,000 windows.

This part of the definition of a bleeding heart liberal makes it sound like those with this as their thinking really care.
Quoted from Quick Silvers post. "sympathetic toward people who suffer extreme hardships, disabilities or economic deprivations and who seek to help people such as those with what has been termed "Entitlement" programs like Social Security, Food Stamps and Aid To Dependent Children."
The news reports and CBO paint a dim picture of taxes being able to continue being able to support Soc. Sec. Given that taxes support social help programs too. What happens when Soc. Sec. & taxes get to the point of not being able to support sympathy? Will bleeding heart liberals sacrifice their own welfare to provide for those who suffer extreme hardships, disabilities or economic deprivations?
I admit I'm a person that wants to take care of Americans 1st. Illegal immigrants seeking the care described above are not my concern. American tax payers have been supplying foreign aid for a long time to help but obviously it hasn't.

Will bleeding heart liberals sacrifice their own welfare to provide for those who suffer extreme hardships, disabilities or economic deprivations? Ther's plenty of money in this country to not only support social security, but increase it. There's also plenty of money to provide Medicare for all US CITIZENS. What is needed in this country is a good healthy dose of SOCIALISM. The virtually unfettered capitalistic system that we have is exactly like the old board game of Monopoly that we played as kids. And the object of that game is for one person to acquire all the wealth so that the remaining ones can no longer play. That's what we are headed for in this country. And when that happens it will be just like in Monopoly. Game over. Except that the have nots are not going to take it lying down. It would behoove the ruling class to get behind some socialistic reforms while they still can. It might well save their lives. Because when the game is over heads are going to roll. Their heads.
