How different would our political landscape be today if Twitter didn't exist for Trump and all of us? Would he have been elected? I'm not so sure. Would he have the near cult-like following amongst his base that he enjoys today? I think not. What would I do with all that free time that is now spent perusing Twitter? What would Trump do if he couldn't get the message out to is base via this simple, but effective means of communication? Just pondering and wondering what folks think. Imagine a world without Twitter.

Jeff Bezo should have bought Twitter after being attacked by trump. His net worth is 140 Billion dollars. Could you imagine what he could have done with trumps account?! Or, just deleted all of Twitter for good.
I don't have a Twitter account and I sure as heck don't follow trump on twitter. I sometimes resent different news media's forcing his tweets down our throats. I just shake my head with his juvenile tweets, always pointing his finger in another direction and never taking responsibility for his own actions, ever! It would be great if the media would stop telling us what he had to say...can you imagine how worried and concerned he would be that his message isn't getting out there?

How different would our political landscape be today if Twitter didn't exist for Trump and all of us? Trump would have to re-activate his old MySpace account. At least he'd be amongst his own kind of mentality.

I think this was my point; he uses this medium to quickly get his poisonous messages out to everyone. I don't follow him, but certainly the media do and as a result I see much of what he has to say. But what would he do if he couldn't get the message out this way? I think Trump is in large part our president due to the impact of social media. Our view of him is constantly shaped and reinforced by what he says, and by what others say about him (and I can tell you I enjoy reading many of those tweets). We know how incoherent Trump is on camera, so I can't imagine that would be effective. What would he do? I agree, the media should just ignore him. He'd freak.

we are constantly being bombarded by opinions and comments about issues that are seen from trump's perspective only leaving us little time to think things through.this may be leading some to form unwise conclusions.i do agree that without the internet trump wouldn't be president.just ask hillary

We know how incoherent Trump is on camera, so I can't imagine that would be effective. What would he do? He already has Sinclair Broadcasting in his pocket and his cronies giving commentaries after the news. Perhaps he'd try again with his own media channel, like he did during the campaign with live feeds on Facebook, I think. You know how he is...it's all about the ratings! Meh...I'm just glad summer is here, the days are getting longer in the evening and more time is spent outdoors than inside with the TV going. Less time I need to hear his awful voice and the stupidity that comes out of his mouth.
