www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/trumps-approval-surpasses-obamas-same-point-in-presidencyTrump’s approval climbs higher than Obama’s at same point into his presidency Part of the link... President Trump's approval rate among likely U.S. voters hit 50 percent on Monday, which puts him higher than former President Barack Obama's score at the same point into his first term, according to a new poll. One-third of all respondents "strongly approve" of the Republican leader's job, according to the April 2 poll by conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports. Exactly 49 percent are unhappy with Trump's performance, including 38 percent who "strongly disapprove. Trump last hit 50 percent approval in the same poll on Feb. 27. He started out in the upper-50s following his inauguration Jan. 20, 2017, then dropped down to the 30s and 40s. He hit 51 percent last March and hit 50 percent a handful of times between then and now. [Here are the states with the highest and lowest Trump approval ratings] On April 2, 2010, Obama received a 46 percent approval rating and 53 percent disapproval rating. Obama's approval numbers were higher than Trump's when comparing each of their first 12 months in office ============================================================================ It looks like many are looking at what Trump is trying to get done and what he has got done and not his tweets.

I don't believe any polls. How did they get this information? What questions were asked and who did they ask? After reading the article about Sinclair that Rosa posted, I don't think this survey could be accurate. It is a Sinclair poll.

No its a Rasmussen poll. You could contact Rasmussen to ask what questions were asked. I also question polls but I look at them with interest.
FYI....One-third of all respondents "strongly approve" of the Republican leader's job, according to the April 2 poll by conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports.

I have no idea where truth lies in this situation but if false information is being disseminated to the public about the President's popularity (both views cannot be correct simultaneously) then democracy is in peril.
Dictator's manipulate their approval ratings using tame media. Any sign that the media is being manipulated, or that the people are being manipulated by the media, is sinister for democratic government and needs to be exposed for all to see.

Trump has never reached a 50% approval rating, even on February 27th, like your article stated.
Some interesting charts for you to look over, if you click on my link below:
projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/
The ratings you from your link does not work know...it did a hour or so and it showed that Trump had ratings at almost 50% in the polls.
After all the bad press and his stupid tweets its telling how good Trump looks.

The ratings you from your link does not work know...it did a hour or so and it showed that Trump had ratings at almost 50% in the polls. It works. The poll showing is the average from the 5 most popular sites. It shows that only 40.4% approve, 53.7% disapprove. Yesterday, on 4/02 40.6% approved, 53.5% disapproved. The green line shows his approval rating throughout his tenure. No where does it show that he ever hit the 50% mark.

The Rasmussen Reports/Pulse Opinion Research poll is rated C+ by the Project,
This is just trumpests reaching for straws.
The project puts trump at 53.7 Dis/40.4 App
Generally, the media lets trump get away with a lot of lying.

Polls seem to be irrelevant...... Trump approval drops to record low in March Source: The Hill BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 04/05/18 08:29 AM EDT President Trump's approval rating hit a record low in March, a new poll finds. Morning Consult's 50 state approval tracker finds 41 percent of registered voters approved of Trump's job performance during March. A majority, 54 percent, disapproved of the president's job performance. The data from March surpasses the president's previous lows in October and November, when 42 percent of respondents approved of Trump's job performance and 53 percent disapproved. It also falls below his February approval ratings, when 43 percent of respondents approved of the job he was doing in the White House and 52 percent held the opposite view. according to the April 2 poll by conservative-leaning Rasmussen Reports. When I read about a survey, a poll, a study, or a report claiming one product is 100% better and more efficient than it's competitors I only have one question. Who did the study and who paid for it?
