In the bleak aftermath of Pennsylvania’s special congressional race the day before, Republicans on Capitol Hill spent Wednesday grumbling about Rick Saccone. The party had stumbled once again: Saccone, nominally their guy, an archconservative Pennsylvania state representative, had failed to had failed to cinch a special congressional election in a district that Trump won by double digits in 2016. And as they saw it, it was on first and foremost on him. time.com/5200351/pennsylvania-special-election-rick-saccone-republican-reaction/I am glad the GOP is not worried about Pennsylvania’s special congressional race outcome. I am hoping they sit on their couches election day in a happy afterglow of their loser of a president. There is no blue wave, They are winners, Fox news tells them so.

Since the new PA map has been redrawn, Saccone is gathering petitions to run in the new 14th Congressional District in November. Lamb will seek reelection in state's new 17th Congressional District this fall, setting up a likely match with GOP Rep. Keith Rothfus.
