Dems are angry over Hillary Clinton’s latest commentsDemocrats are angry that Hillary Clinton continues to discuss what went wrong during the 2016 presidential election against President Trump. Even some of Clinton’s own former aides and surrogates say the former Democratic presidential nominee should back away from the discussion about her failed campaign because it’s harmful to the party. During a conference in India this weekend, Clinton called states that supported her in the election more economically advanced than the states that backed Trump. The remarks reminded many of the former secretary of State’s comments in 2016 that some of Trump’s supporters fit in a “basket of deplorables,” a line the Republican then used against her repeatedly during the final stretch of the campaign. She also insinuated that women who voted for Trump were motivated by “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.” In interviews with The Hill on Tuesday, even the staunchest Clinton allies as well as longtime advisers say the comments were cringeworthy and ultimately detrimental to Democrats. “She put herself in a position where [Democrats] from states that Trump won will have to distance themselves from her even more,” said one former senior Clinton aide. “That’s a lot of states.” Another Clinton surrogate questioned the decisionmaking behind Clinton’s remarks. For months, some Democrats have been arguing that Clinton’s sentiments have been counterproductive to the party’s rebuilding efforts. And some have told her she should emulate former President Obama’s model to only make statements when it’s essential. Even before she launched her book tour last fall for “What Happened,” party strategists have said Clinton should lay low. “She’s annoying me. I personally think it is time for Clinton to move on and stop publicly commenting on the 2016 election.
I personally think it is time for Bernie's followers, Trump, and others to stop taking potshots at Clinton.

She continues to show she is a sorry loser. I wish she would be more positive about her party and our country. I cringe every time Hillary brings up the past. Just like with Trump too, it's so tiresome. The election is over....it's time for both of them to walk away from being in candidate mode and live in the present. |

Seems she is turning into her own worst enemy.
The gist that I’m getting is that she is trying to keep her name up in lights and at the top of the marque. I do foresee a halfhearted second attempt in 2020.

First off, wouldn't it be nice if Democrats stood by other Democrats like the Republicans do? The guy in the WH is a sexual pervert, a liar, a puffed up ego maniac, a bit of a dunce, a cheat, unqualified to sit in the Oval Office, unhinged, obnoxious, a dem then a rep. And yet, his party stands by their man. Even when he tosses one or two out the door or under a bus. They don't care about any of his shortcomings. They don't care about right or wrong. They will support him. They know, just like we do, he's not perfect. Far from it!
Dems don't have that kind of loyalty. Dems always have to be PC instead. Walk on egg shells.
There is one thing and only one thing I admire about Reps/Cons. Their loyalty. They're loyal to a fault but at least they're loyal.
Hillary isn't perfect. She's human. But, she was overqualified for the job!
Hate, and some help from Russia with love is what put that maniac in the WH. It's been said hate destroys the vessel that holds it. Yep. The wrecking crew is destroying America piece by piece. I'd like to see this much anger and rage directed at the guy responsible for the wreck.
I wonder who the reps/cons and angry/frustrated Bernie supporters would use as a punching bag if they didn't have Hillary Clinton? Oh, that's right. President Obama.
