This morning. 33 F and we are expecting a March snow storm of 5 to 10" all in one evening! I'm glad I don't have to drive that 30 miles of roads up and down winding roads at night to go to work any more!

Cold! High for today 34 degrees F. Got up to 40, yesterday, but not today. Better tomorrow and upper 60's by Thursday. Then... possible snow and cold by Friday.
Sheesh! Mother Nature cannot make up her mind. Must be blonde!!! (I apologize to the blondes reading this!)

It's been snowin' & blowin' for a few hours now, just above the freezing point at suppertime. It's supposed to turn to rain in this part of the Province overnight, with possible ice pellets during the transition. So far. March seems more like winter than February did!

1993 the Midwest suffered record setting floods. From St. Louis to Central Kansas... Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska saw extensive damage. 1993 saw Minnesota and Wisconsin have record snowfall. As the snow melted, it inundated the Mississippi River. As the Mississippi came out of its banks in Missouri, the Missouri River began backing up towards Kansas City. The Missouri came out of its banks through Missouri and up into Iowa. With the Missouri backed up there was no place for Central Kansas rainfall to go as it flowed along the Kansas and Kaw rivers towards KC.
Minnesota has had two feet of snow over their average snowfall. Lots of snow from the Dakotas to Wisconsin. When that snowfall begins to melt, we could see another 1993. Currently in Central Kansas, we've been suffering with drought conditions. I've never seen the Kansas River along our golf course this low. That will help if we do see the Mississippi out of its banks again in the St. Louis area. Fingers crossed! Can't control Mother Nature. If she stays off her meds as she has appeared to be so far in 2023, who know what she'll let happen.

El Penol, Guatape, Colombia's weather doesn't change much it is eternal spring here. If not for the lack of beaches, this would be on the front of the line for me to expat to.

Really warm and windy the past couple days. Just got a severe thunderstorm watch on my phone. Supposed to have storms move through here between 9:00 p.m. and midnight. High winds and large hail. We so much need the rain. Just don't need the moisture in large frozen ice balls!!!!

1.01" of rain on the digital readout of my rain gauge. Came in two waves. Should have all soaked in. We needed it so bad!! Could have used twice that much, but don't want to complain. Glad for what we got.
Gonna be cooler today and tomorrow. Highs in the 50's with north wind. Back to 70'd next week.
