Does anyone here do Tai Chi? I would like to, I live a-ways away from the city, so no Tai Chi studios for me. But, I am making space in my computer/hobby/exercise room to do Tai Chi while viewing on a big screen.

You can learn on computer but best to have teacher... but certainly able to use computer and books... I recommend it highly for no just exercise, but for spiritual awareness too.

It may not been taught correctly... when done with expert teacher, many benefits...when you watch and try on tv, sometime frustrating and you not see benefits. But you are correct.... it not for everyone!

I think this video is from another thread, I just watched it, and it's what my body needs(age 65):
The style reminds me of another martial art I saw, in a studio where I was taking Taekwondo back in the 1970s. I want to say Aikido, but not sure...

Yes I do. My fiancé is a Sifu and when possible we do the forms together. When he is away I practice alone. It helps me centre myself, and release the pressures of a highly stressful job.

When I get back from Vermont I'm going to get my hobby room re-arranged so I can follow tai chi videos on my big screen TV, and have room to do the moves.

Yes! We did it recommended for PTSD therapy and it is incredible. It can be done by even those folks in wheelchairs. We did several classes and then got a follow along CD with certain moves and the self awareness part we do in the end it so soothing.
It also worked great with my PT exercises. Keeps one mobile and healthy without stressing joints.
We live at least 2 hrs from any city.

Well there are plenty of martial arts studios within a 10 mile drive, but none offer Tai Chi. So, I'll just have to rely on video instruction. Of course Youtube has a sizable quantity of all manner of Tai Chi vids, plus many for sale(Amazon, ebay, Barnes & Noble etc). As T'ai chi ch'uan philosophy is of course at the heart of Tai Chi, I thought it beneficial to re-acquaint my self with The Tao. I ordered a digital copy of Tao Te Ching, to read in the Kindle app on my iPad.

Not long ago I spoke to my yoga / Silver Sneakers instructor about Tai Chi, turns out she is experienced and in response incorporated about 10 minutes worth of Tai Chi routines in her Silver Sneaker class.
Now, she has a Tai Chi class that is tentatively scheduled to start in June
I have been following several Youtube channels that present Tai Chi videos, so many to choose from. Here is a simple stretch routine I particularly like:

I purcashed a few videos nearly 2 decades ago, I think it's a wonderful form of exercise. I've also attended a few in person sessions that were offered here and there, I enjoyed it. You can find some great videos on youtube.

Now, she has a Tai Chi class that is tentatively scheduled to start in June ...well, I guess these things take time, I'm not going to bug her about it, she'll tell me when the Tai Chi class is a GO. In the meantime, I signed up with an online Taichi site- Taiflow. Provides paid access to many videos to follow varied routines, I first viewed several videos posted to Youtube, here's one:
Really enjoy Tai Chi and Yoga, each having similar and also unique benefits.

You might be a Taoist in your beliefs, without knowing it initially.
