Yes, I read this thread and responded by reminding him that the whistle blower will be appearing before Congress and advised him to do the same if he wants to refute the evidence. Reckon he will listen to someone with a wombat for the avatar? Or anyone else, for that matter.

I just saw a meme on "Occupy Democrats" where they took my hypothetical a step further. Trump and Pence both indicted and gone. Pelosi becomes POTUS. She appoints Hillary as her VP... and then steps aside. That would leave Clinton as the POTUS. This would REALLY upset the minions. I like it! Why wouldn't Pelosi just serve out the remainder of Trump's term? Why would she want to step aside for Clinton?
I think Pelosi could do a hell of a lot of good in the time remaining on the term.

trump will not be able to do anything meaningful in terms of getting re- elected the dems will keep this up daily.his poll numbers are already bad.at some point he's going to implode.would anyone in his or her' right mind want trump's record to run on?
I don't think his GOP base care what he has done, even if they believed he has done anything wrong, which they don't.

Trump seems to be in meltdown mode. He demands to meet the whistleblower and whoever leaked the phone call. He will get his chance when the impeachment goes to the Senate for trial. He tweeted that if he was removed from office, the country would see a civil war like fracture. Whatever that means. He is making things worse and his rants are digging up hate amongst his followers. What if they took away his Twitter account for 2 days and no one in the news talked to him for a few days? Wouldn't he self destruct from lack of publicity? He is unhinged and melting down. Yet he is dangerous in that he can stir things up to where some crazy will act on his behalf.

Reckon he will listen to someone with a wombat for the avatar? Or anyone else, for that matter. Off topic but I have a question that has bugged me for a few weeks. When I was in Australia several years ago, I did the obligatory visit to nature preserve and got to hold a wombat. My recollection was that the fur was rough and bristly. On a recent post at another forum, the poster said that wombat fur was soft and cuddly. Is my memory failing me once again or have wombats begun using conditioner after their shampoos ?

To tell the truth, I have never held a wombat. I'm guessing rough and bristly would be the norm. I've never seen a wombat in the wild but have observed signs that they were around and have located their burrow. I would never interfere with one, not because they are dangerous but because they are totally protected as a species. Most of our native animals are.
