I never understood why anyone would vote for him. He's a loud mouthed, richy rich thug who knows nothing at all about politics.
I'm still trying to understand why anybody would vote for him. No political experience at all. None. I don't get it.
If people think he's a regular guy just like they are, I'd like to have some of whatever it is they are smoking.

We will never see an electric motorized boat. If a boat with an electric motor sank, it would electrocute everyone on the boat.
This is the person one of the major political parties of the United States wants elected to the Office of the President. This is the person close to half the registered voters think would be a better choice to lead the Country than President Biden.

He is a "savior" to then. A significant number of his followers think in those terms and in their minds, he fits the bill - and nothing he says or does will change that for most of them. I find it appalling that that kind of ignorance might kill our democracy!

I can't stop shaking my head. It is beyond scary that there are so many people like this person. Proud of thinking this way and behaving like this. Too many of them. Way too many.
If it wasn't so dangerous it would be funny. But they are dangerous. A clear and present danger to the USA. Not funny. Not at all.

There was a time when traitors were executed...perhaps Trump should ponder on that when he throws out threats to law-abiding citizens. Trump is evil and crazy, and a serious threat to his country! I feel anger, contempt, and pity for the mindless idiots who choose to drink his brand of Koolaid.

I'm a lifelong Christian but this whole Trump worship has got me looking at most Christians with guarded suspicion. |

This kind of behavior is why our Founders insisted on keeping religion and politics separate.
They knew religious beliefs are in the minds of believers and should have nothing to do with politics or laws. Because what's in my head, what I believe might not necessarily be in your head. It's a personal decision.
However, no matter what your religion is or even if you have no religious beliefs, we both have to abide by the laws of our country. Those rules apply to the religious and the Atheist.
I don't have to believe what you believe but we both have to obey the laws of our country.
On another topic does anybody find it a little strange that so many people who call themselves Christians support and adore trump, a guy who probably never opened a Bible, he couldn't even hold it upright. And yet, these same people constantly bash President Biden, a man who is a believer.
Don't you think that's a little bit strange? Messed up? Weird?

I know a person who sends Bible verses every day, but wants Biden to be murdered. This breaks my heart.

The Bible is a path to enlighrment for some and a weapon of destruction for others.
I'm not sure why so many people, resent President Biden so much. He won. You lost. Deal with it. Perhaps it has more to do with trump being the loser.
I had to deal with trump being president. Trust me that wasn't an easy task. Nope. Not at all.

There are many people who are not rational. Some of them read and post Bible verses, some don't. Talking about wanting to kill the President of the USA and quoting the Bible also, doesn't mean you're a rational person.
I can understand not liking or disagreeing with a politican, but I most certainly wouldn't think of talking about killing him
and posting about it on line.
I didn't like when trump was President but I certainly wouldn't wish him harm or death.
There is a line that rational people usually don't cross and most certainly don't post on a chat room.

The reason the bible thumpers, believe in trump, is, their bible beliefs have been aligned with their Culture. trump fits in to their Culture. This is very common with religions. Their book of god say one thing and their Culture, changes the meaning to something very different.

It is "their" book of God. Written by mere men. They might believe their words were inspired by a Higher Power but I don't believe in their beliefs.
The words I'm writing right now are inspired by a Higher Power. Does that mean you have to believe what I write is absolute truth and you have to believe and obey my words? Silly, isn't it?
