Our 2 major State universities had both of their football teams qualify for bowl games this season. Both won!! First time since 1995 that both teams appeared in bowls and both won. Kansas State University, the one in our community, lost quite a few to the transfer portal. Yet, a freshman quarterback and very young receivers prevailed over North Carolina State. Kansas University, located about 1 1/2 hours to our east, has an up and coming team. New coach 3 years ago and they are becoming a contender.
There is a severe in-state rivalry between the 2 schools. Yet, when the rival is playing an out of conference and out of state team...one almost has to root for the home state team.

Looks like both Eagles and Steelers are done for the season. Chiefs still in it for at least one more game.
Couldn't watch last week's Chiefs vs. Dolphins. Was only on Peacock Plus and a lot of people weren't going to subscribe just to pad a corporation's pockets. Rumor has it much of next season will be streamed on Prime, Peacock, etc. rather than non-subscription tv. If they do, I look for viewership to drop.

I was surprised to learn the Eagles lost their game. Jason Kelce intends to retire. He took the loss hard. Not surprised the Steelers are out.
Belichick is out as coach for the Patriots. They hired Jarod Mayo to take his place. If the Eagles remove their coach, it's a possibility Belichick would take his place.
I think big changes are coming next season. And true, if they go to pay TV to view games, they will loose viewers.
Wishing the Chief's a good game and hope they win it!

Chiefs pulled it out. Ravens up next. So glad to see Lions win. After such a long dry spell, they're the Cinderella team for the year.
