teacher in a community just south of Tampa, Florida is suing Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) over an "anti-woke" school policy that has effectively required him to cover up books in his classroom.
Remember the big rant DeSantis, made on ESG investments.
This week, Florida also barred a separate public employees’ fund from adopting sustainable strategies — but less than 1% of the $5.1 billion pool had been invested in ESG-labeled funds, according to Florida’s chief financial officer.
“This was a whole lot of hoopla for nothing,” said Democratic State Senator Jason Pizzo, a member of the senate appropriations committee, in an interview. “It’s another in a series of big announcements that result in little if any kind of results for anyone. It’s neither effective nor of any impact on anyone.”
The GOP is trying to ban ESG investments, and I thought this was a free Country, where I could put my money where I wished?
DeSantis seems to think, GOD made people shortsighted, greedy, and bigoted, so he is going to fight to keep them that way?

I really want Trump indicted and unable to pursue his 2024 run. But... really would enjoy seeing the catfight between DeSantis and Trump. Either one is a danger to the U.S. and democracy if elected. But, they will tear each other to shreds if both are in the competition come 2024. Trump is crazier than a loon and losing his ability to reason more and more each day. But, his ability to motivate his cult is amazing. DeSantis is so much smarter and cunning than Trump. If impowered with the Presidency, DeSantis could easily evolve into a Putin clone. He has the ability to turn the U.S. into a Christotheocracy, with harsh penalties for "nonbelievers". Scary times.

I have trouble recolonizing Christianity for what it has morphed into, where shortsighted selfless, greed, and bigotry is GOD's way and working for the common good is a bad thing?

This isn't Christianity at all. Christianity tells us to love one another and judge not lest ye be judged.
These people aren't Christians. They're religious, judgemental, people who have set themselves up as the judge and jury of others.
There's a story in the Bible where a group of religious folk tell Jesus they have preached in his name blah, blah, blah. Jesus, aware of their hypocritical ways, tells them to get lost and that he doesn't even know them. You go, Jesus!
Did they think He wouldn't see them for what they really are? Hello? You think you're going to trick Him? Yeah, okay. Now that's funny.
