Is there anybody else on here who does not like hot and spicy food? I just had a wrap that didn't mention it was very, very hot and spicy. I'm not a fan of burning my lips or my mouth. I'd rather enjoy a meal without the fire on my lips and in my mouth. I could not eat it. No thanks.
Call me boring. I'm ok with that. Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy a 4 alarm meal?
Give me plain and simple and delicious. At least give me a warning on the label, please.

I love hot and spicy and keep a bottle of sriracha in the frig to pep up anything bland. A drop or three will do wonders for flavor. Nothing bothers my stomach. Different strokes .....

I know I'm in the minority here. I am the only person I know who doesn't enjoy hot and spicy. I know people who add even more hot and spicy like you do.
I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to any kind of pain. Give me sweet and even a little sour instead.

I'm in your camp birdgal regarding too hot and spicy. I like a "hint" of H & S but not overwhelming where my mouth would be on fire all night long.

I don't care for overly hot/spicy food, and my digestive system certainly doesn't like it. Not my cuppa tea!

Over the years, nothing too hot. Went through jar after jar of jalapenos. Kept a number of different hot sauces in the fridge. Had to spice up everything.
Over the past few years, I no longer "heat it up" just to be doing it. I love spicy foods... as long as the spice enhances the taste and doesn't destroy it. Wife had a Mexican casserole for supper this evening. Daughter and her family here. All commented about how it had a tinge to it, but was delicious. The granddaughter will NOT eat anything spicy. She had two helpings of this.
Old Chicago restaurant in town has a spicy calzone. I've ordered it twice. Never again. Greasy. No taste except grease and jalapenos. OTOH, a local Mexican restaurant has an "extra spicy" sauce I order. It will grow hair on a baby's butt. Yet, it allows the taste of the burrito ingredients to come through and only enhances the experience.
At 75... almost 76... I've never had any digestive tract issues with hot and spicy food.
