Lady gave birth to 69 children. Her husband father the 69 with her. After she passed, he fathered another 18 with his second wife. Mr. & Mrs. Feodor Vassilyev are listed in the Guiness Book of World Records for having the most children with a monogamous couple. They are said to have 69 children within a forty-year period (1725-1765). Mrs. Vassilyev gave birth to 69 children- sixteen pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets, and four pairs of quadruplets. After Mrs. Vassilyev passed Mr. Vassilyev had 18 more children with his second wife; six sets of twins and two pairs of triplets. He was the father of a total of 87 children with two wives. Mrs. Vassilyev first name is unknown but she is said to have lived to be 76 years old. Mr. Vassilyev was a peasant farmer from Shuya, Russia. Mrs. Vassiley is believed to be the mother of the most children.  |

Good grief how did they feed them and house them all. That had to be some farm with many barns. Well at least the parents greatly enjoyed one another's company.  |

Here we are 2old it’s looks like her name was Valentina en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_with_the_most_childrenI was born raised in a very isolated town / city in New South Wales with a population of about 40.000 in its hay day (mining town ) it was then full of Catholic Churches / schools and it was claimed every man and his dog were catholic  I attended a catholic school heavens knows why my parents sent me to one cause they kept a local club and hotel in business because they attended the pub or club everyday . I attended school with several families who had in excess of 16 children one family had 21 small by comparison to the family you mentioned I haven’t lived in the town since 1971 however I seen two of the girls from the family of 21 when I passed through the town in 2019 while travelling up to Queensland |

Sorry, I'm not impressed with this guy. More impressed with the women who birthed all these children. He had a good time while they pumped out living beings.
Did he pay to feed and house all of them? Or, was that left up to their mothers?
Nope. Not impressed at all. Yawn!
I'm more impressed with the post about people who rescue and help stray animals. That's something to be proud of. That's a labor of love for all creatures we share the planet with.

Sound the same as the Gauci’s I mentioned had 21 children .,he spent allot of time at the hotel and she looked much like the woman 2old posted about ,we thought she was their grandmother rather then their mother and they lived in a 2 bedroom house with 21 kids , allot of homes there didn’t have internal walls and if they did quite often they were white washed sugar bags used as dividing walls .....Very few stone or brick homes just wood and iron It’s still the same lots of homes like that ...the mining ceased long ago so now it’s only got a population of about 17.000 ...down from 40.000 + when I lived there birdgal |

I can't imagine being pregnant all the time. That woman, IMHO, was nothing more than a breeding machine. Don't get me started. No wonder she looks much older in that picture. Her body and soul must have been sick and tired all the time. Not much of a life. Just a baby making machine. Poor woman.
When I was a child we had a family in the neighborhood with 10 kids. Maybe even more. It was a long time ago. The dad was in construction and they had a huge house. The biggest home in the neighborhood. HUGE! That woman had so many kids of different ages most of the kids in the neighborhood, including me, was friends with one or more of her children.
They were good Catholics too. Lol.
